Likes

The Faculty is Great, they do give importance to every student at least in my college
The another thing that I liked about this university is providing study materials

Dislikes

They don't follow their own academic calendar due to which I lost many intership program
The declare results very late due to which many students receive results after 1 year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The year wise fees is moderate for integrated course but with the curriculum they provide it must be reduced. Yearly for B.A.LL.B is around 35500 a year. College wise it varies but it's around the same figure. There are some scholarships for ST and SC but not for General.

Campus Life

The campus is overall ok, there are some student run social groups. The library is satisfactory you can find journals and books and it is easily assessible. It's not a fancy University like the private ones.

Admission

The admission process is through online there is however an exam you have to clear for admission. Eligibility criteria is above 50% in 12th. Application fees is a little bit high, you can find the admission procedure online in GU website. The timing of exams is by far the worst part as they conduct very very late.

Faculty

The institute has one of the best teachers and study materials they provide. The administration of the institution is not upto the mark but the faculty members tries to cope with the losses which are caused by the administration. The Faculty members are well-educated and have professional experiences

Admission and Environmental requirements in Dibrugarh university

Course Curriculum Overview:

2 semester each year with 2 sessional each along with assignment and viva for internal marks Though 6 month may seems a lot the hectic schedule of university itself doesn't give one enough time for all the curriculum and even with reasonable difficulty levels of exam one should know how to manage one's time

TLC in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

University law college experience!

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine. And firms to visit but most passouts go for further studies or private litigation. Generally firms visit and hire students from 9th semester. I plan to go for private litigation after getting my degree too. But those looking for placements will find the placement cell very helpful.

I chose guwahati university over another because its well reputed university. Beautiful campus greenary ,i love the environment .I applied for Dibrugarh University too but its way too far from me ..I thought Guwahati and Dibrugarh both have the same facilities..and its kinda similar.No regrets. I applied in kc das and gcc and got admission in both but then i took admission in kc das because i was not getting admission in gauhati university because of the cutoff marks , then in the spot admission in gauhati university i got seat in the university as my percentage was 86.
