Remarks

College allows students to be ready for the unplanned journey of the corporate world which at times creates demoralization in the students.

Entrance Preview

I gave UPTU exam in 2015. I got a good rank of 329 and I opted for this college as my parents wanted me to stay in hometown and also that this college is better than all others in UPTU.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is lengthy of course. It is tough to know all the topics in given duration of time.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college does not provide internship but has a local R&D in the campus. The stipend and experience is still unknown to me.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities totally depends upon the reference the student has on personal level and the companies that are available every year are TCS, IBM, Singsys etc.

College Events

We have many events cultural fest- abhivyakti, Fresher's Night, Tech fest- gantavya etc.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is uneven but extra curricular activities and labs,debates all are done with great pomp and show and courage and expense.

Exam Structure

The labs are too hectic as they are for 3 long hours and the examination goes on the chill day.

The faculty has knowledge but at times, last unit gets passed untouched forming 70% of the exam paper.

There are many opportunities for yourself to get placed many companies visit here in GCET as galgotia is itself a brand . Last year arounf 200 companies has visited the campus as per my seniors . The highest package was around 32 lakhs per annum and the median package was around 4 - 5 lakhs .
