Canteen's food is quite good and tasty and comes price is also very reasonable according to south delhi.
College campus is very large ,Dayal singh college it is ,campus is very aesthetic you can make your bad face look good with the garden background in your pics
Teachers are well educated and achieved many professional skills in Dayal singh college

Dislikes

Guard is not cooperative in Dayal singh college at evening gate
Washroom is not well maintained and no proper cleaning is seen
Drinking water facilities is not good in Dayal singh college

Currently I am pursuing bachelor of commerce from Dayal singh college , I want to go in finance sector and many other students gets influence by the subjects that Bcom offer ,as we all know that the subjects that are taught in bcom are close related to practical training that will surely help you in corporate journey for eg - Excel and tally help you in jobs day , I would rate difficulty in bcom - 5 cause if you are an average student you will surely pass the exams as the held every half yearly.

And they conduct there annual fest which is quite exciting to attend , many performance held in amphitheatre from which Dayal singh is famous for The classes is quite good ,benches are comfortable to sit and spend your classes without any discomfort Many sports playing area is available in Dayal singh college Basketball, football , cricket, volleyball, ncc ground is also there

To take admission in Dayal singh college you have to pass the CUET exam , and the score for general category is around 640 - 650 and for OBC / SC / ST it is much lesser than 650 . The college exams held in 2 shift in a year 2 semester are completed in a year and exams held in nov to dec and may to June

Faculty

In Dayal singh college if you pursue bachelor of commerce , you will meet talented teacher who possess great skills in finance and accounting but one negative side of faculty is head of department Is not cooperative and have ego problems,as you know I can't disclose his / her name

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet
