Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum are very good. I think NISER has best course curriculum than other msc university. They teach very good content and conceptual. Regular quizes and assignments are there. Exam pattern are also very effective

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for general and obc category is rupee 9800 par semester and for SC and ST it is around rupee 3000 per semester. Beside this there is some extra fee for cultural events and Puja festival etc. They give 5000 rupees per month through DISHA fellowship.

Campus Life

4.5

Till now my campus life is quite good and I am happy about it. I like this campus and the environment. Infrastructure is quite impressive. Yaa a lot of club activities are available I also participate in those activities.

Admission

The admission process is through NEST exam. You have to qualify with good rank in this exam. You have to qualify either 3 subjecta among math, physics, chemistry and biology. Then only you will get a rank. For general cut -off around 100 rank and for obc around 400 rank and sc and st it less. But it varies year by year

Faculty

4

Faculty members numbers are quite good. In some aspects this number is not good like in theoretical chemistry faculty members are less only 3 pure computation chemistry faculty are there. Faculty are very friendly and they interact with students very much. Some faculties are rude but most of them are friendly.

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.
