What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the overall curriculum of the course which is technically well benefitted and also very industry oriented
- The campus beauty and infrastructure is the best in Maharashtra. Very big and beautiful campus. We also have riverside and greenery.
- The sport facilities are top notch. All kinds of sports are available here. Especially swimming which I enjoy the most.
Dislikes
- Attendance policy is one of the not so good thing about the college. 75% attendance is mandatory.
- Library timing is very less. It closes at 8 pm on weekdays and remains close on weekend.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is really industry-oriented and latest. Some sections of the course are outdated also. The best thing about the course curriculum is that it is very precise and contains only relevant topics. Topics are not required or outdated are cut out. Well, the curriculum can be made better by adding some more practical topics. In each semester of the course, mid-semester exams are conducted, and then the end-semester at the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided in the final year of the course. The internship can be paid or unpaid depending on the individual. I am still in my third year, so haven't applied for the internship yet. Projects are mandatory in every semester after the first year.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are provided by the college, but it mostly depends on the student and his/her academic performance and skills. Students need to have above 7.5 CGPA for eligibility for campus placement. The average package is around 5-6 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees depend on the course selected. My civil Engineering fees are around 2 lakhs per annum and it increase by 5% every year. Merit Scholarship is provided based on the JEE and CET percentile which is around 60000 per annum and it continues if the student score above 8 CGPA each year. Don't know anything about campus employment opportunities yet.
Campus Life
Many clubs are there, Coding clubs, event management clubs, Music clubs, Literature clubs, etc. The main annual fest "PERSONA" is a really fun and amazing event held annually for 4 days. Student Fair Association is there to help students with personal and academic problems.
Hostel Facilities
3 girls' Hostels and 2 Boys' Hostels are available within the campus and more hostels are available outside the campus. Within the campus hostel is preferable, a triple sharing room with all the necessary needs is provided in the hostel. The charges for the hostel in 150000 per annum. Mess food is average, sometimes maybe good.
Admission
The admission process is very simple. Firstly we need to fill the enquiry form and then the college will contact us and provide relevant information about the college and the course. The application can be accessed on the college official website. Admissions are given based on JEE, CET percentile, and also with 12th grade percentage. There are no reservation benefits as it is a private college. The cut-off for Civil engineering is around 75%ile in JEE and 85%ile in MHT-CET and for CSE, IT, mech, and ECE branch is around 80%ile to 98%ile in JEE and 80%ile to 99%ile in CET.
Faculty
The faculty to students is very good. The ratio for our Civil engineering department is around 1:15, which is pretty good. Most of the faculties are PHD holders or pursuing PhD in fields related to the department. The teaching style depends on the faculty. Some are really good and some just scroll and read the PowerPoint presentation. But they are very knowledgeable in their respective field.
Other Applied Colleges
