Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good, we have learnt python, Java, c, c++ by our third year and a variety of extra subjects. These languages are good for real world applications. Besides that we are allowed to choose our specialisation in the second year, we can choose from cyber security, AI, Cloud and full stack, which is helpful because we can start preparing for our dream field. Besides that, the skills provided for the specialisation can be improved by enhancing the quality of teaching and more workshop. Exams are held regularly with 1 MSE (mid semester exams) and 1 ESE (END SEM EXAMS) , besides these we have tests, assignments, quizzes, internal and external practicals

Internships Opportunities

The companies that visit will include Solitaire Infosys, Wipro, etc, The starting stipend offered might vary from 25000-40000 all depending on the skillset. The internships are average, you can apply for bigger MNCs on your own.

Placement Experience

Campus placements and internships are offered. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and alot of companies visit the university. The companies that visit include Solitaire Infosys, Wipro, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

GNA offers various scholarships mostly based on your score in 12th. I haven't seen a rise in tuition fee, even tho the bus fee was raised this sem, it's not that regular. My total fee per year including transport is 12000. Campus employment takes place and companies visit the university for internships and employments

Campus Life

There are some clubs that we can participate in. Technical festivals are held multiple times throughout the year, and apart from technical festivals we have a diwali fest. Books and journals related to the courses are available in the library. Within classrooms we have projectors in every classroom. Sports and extra curricular activities happen sometime.

Admission

Personally , I went to the campus, and the Head of department had a talk with us, provided the insights into everything, including the fees, financial aids etc, and then we were supposed to register and the registration fee was around 5000.

Faculty members are just enough and they are well qualified, alot of them are themselves btech graduates. Most of the teachers are quite friendly and approachable so you can reach out to them for help.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

I choose this university because of good repotation and this university is situated approx 30 kilometrs away from my village which ables me easy for daily commuting . i do not applied on another colleges because they are expensive which is not affordable for me and my family . I do not get rejection for any colleges because i do not applied i applied only in gna university and got selected . The admission process is so simple in this university . Some good's and bad's of GNA University

I want to do B.Tech in robotics and automation engineering but this branch of engineering is not available in all the college because in all over the Ludhiana there is no college who has this branch of engineering and suddenly I called GNA university and asked that if they have that branch of engineering they said yes.
