Likes
- A very disciplined environment. We are supposed to keep a lady like behaviour , dress modestly and each and every staff of our college is disciplined. So PWC is definately a epitome of discipline in our city patna .
- The teachers here are very well qualified. They keep a keen interest in student's welfare. They are very punctual.
- The sisters of PWC are very humble and cooperative. The environment and infrastructure of PWC is top notch.
Dislikes
- No mobile phones allowed. Even if it's an emergency you have to take permission from your teachers. The rules for mobile should be a little lineant. But the college is working in this direction.
- Fees is on bit higher side compare to other patna University 's college because PWC is now autonomous.
- Rules regarding dress code is very strict.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our batch is second batch of NEP. The college follows the NEP rule very wisely and the curriculum is pretty much relevant. We have field visits in every department so the college is also preparing us for real world environment. The newly formed placement cell of college even helps the students of academic courses to get placed in edtech companies like PW, Vedantu etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internships and all is valid in last year of college. We are just in 1st semester so no idea on this point but internship opportunity is immense. If anybody wants to grow their skills then the college will definitely help her.
Fees and Financial Aid
The very big demerit of this college is it's fees because it's an autonomous body but the facilities it provides is worth it for the fees. It will cost around 1.5 lakh for me to complete my bsc degree including all the semesters fees. The college provides some scholarships for the financially weaker students . They have to apply for it and their issue will be addressed.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty amazing. We celebrate every ocassion. We have a college day in November when we can enjoy as much we want . The situation of club is also good. Students can participate in any activities they are interested in .
Admission
Every year PWC conducts their own entrance exam for admission but in my batch the admissions was based on 12th marks because the entrance was cancelled due to ongoing elections in Bihar. The admission forms are filled online but you have to appear for an offline exam and offline admission procedure. I will suggest the college to conduct these processes online too because many girls from rural bihar are also interested in PWC . So it is difficult for them to appear in the college from their home.
Faculty
I think PWC is the best college in patna if you want to do normal graduation courses. The teachers are very well qualified. Some of them are ugc net qualified and almost every teacher of my department is a PHD degree holder. The teacher to student ratio is pretty good . In our class there are 54 students so the ratio is 1:54 which is really good comparatively. We can interact with our teachers any time . They are always available. The teaching method here is also innovative. We have one blackboard and one smartboard in our class. Teachers use both the methods to teach us. The college classes are regular and 75% attendance is mandatory at any cost.
