Remarks

Overall, the college is good to go on a low budget. Cons- You have to be able to study on your own and be capable to gather the required study materials on your own as there are not much from college side on this

Entrance Preview

The college is there in my hometown. More over, it's curriculum is same as that of BIT Sindri and college is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University. Even the session runs on time. So, I had a thought of going for this. It is any ways good if you stay at home and complete your B.Tech degree

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is good enough and is same as that of BIT Sindri. The exam questions and pattern are same as that of BIT Sindri and also the time table. The exams are conducted parallel with BIT Sindri. Moreover, session is always on time , results are published on time.

Internships Opportunities

No, along with a few demerits this is one. They don't provide internship but yaah insist to do the same and have the certificate presented at the time of practical examination. You can have the same done from outside, anywhere no restriction in that. I am not sure, if they have some suggestions.

Placement Experience

1

Placements are not up to the mark. If you consider job opportunities than I must tell you that you always have the world for that. You need to look on the outside opportunities on your own. Don't wait for placements as the companies that come are not good ad even the package and profile offered are not great. They are basically local companies. I would strongly suggest to look for job on your own and get yourself well equipped for that (on your own), you will get good one.

College Events

2.5

There are as such not much events. There is nothing kind of tech-fair. There is one big celebration annually on the foundation day of college. It a full day celebration and is also good enough to be there. It comes up in the month of January. This is 5 years old update, if some new function has turned up then am not aware of that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee-structure is feasible. It is pocket friendly. Even, the costing for hostel is not much. The bus fare is also normal. There is loan facility also. Fee can be paid either once in a year or can be paid twice (one in each semester). There are charges for examination that has to be paid at the time of form fill-up.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any such facility and am also not aware of those. But yes, loan facility is there.

Campus Life

2

Campus is ok kind but not so bad. Gender ratio is good and it don;t have to do anything with the admission process. Extracurricular activities are not much. Same with sports and competitions. Labs are there as per the requirement but not all are well versed.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

To be honest, I have not availed the hostel facility so am not much aware of the facilities and mess food quality. But yaah, been there to see my friends some times. The hostel is good. Rooms are nice. Food timings are as per the college timing and they serve snacks and tea also. You can get 2,3, 4 sharing rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful. Also, alumni are good to helpful. Few faculty are always there to help you in any way and anytime you need them.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as that of BIT Sindri , which is the best part. Even the time and questions are same. There is mid-semester exam in the middle of the semester. After that , will have practical and Viva. At the end of semester, will have main exam. There are 8 semesters all together. Also, there is provision of compartment exam.

Admission

I have attended State level exam of Jharkhand combined called -JCECE. I scored a good marks. Then I filled up the form for this college. The college also shares a list of its cut off. Form has to be filled up accordingly. Then, they will shortlist and conduct a small interview. Further, will proceed for admission. Even, there is direct admission process.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are average. Some are good enough for asking queries like for Mathematics. While some faculty are restricted to just book stuff. In such cases, have to do lot of self study to gain extra , practical knowledge as required for competing in the market while job search.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

On-campus placements are provided to pretty much everyone in the college. With one of the highest percentages of students getting placed, yet the average CTC offered is not up to loving standards, a lot of students opt for higher studies and IAS preparation after college.

We had very little companies for placement ibm and hcl came for bpo jobs.. About 80% left with no jobs after completing the session... Very poor placement opportunities. After completing the jobs most of us went to banglore for searching jobs... We had placement if any after completing 8 semesters We had ibm and hcl but they asked for donations before giving jobs. Packages were 3.6 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. Overall 20% got placement. I prepared for Government exams after completing my degree.
