Remarks

Bad - Need to do lots of self study Good - Syllabus and exam patterns are as per BIT-Sindri

Entrance Preview

It is in my hometown so I opted to study there. I have some personal reasons to join this You can join it if you have a low budget as the college fee is affordable to great extent. The admission process is also easy and simple. Fooding and lodging are also affordable. The city is not costly so other expenses are also nice, rest depends on the students

Internships Opportunities

No. Need to do from outside. Internship was not provided by college at that time not sure of current status

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements and job opportunities are limited but yes that happens for few companies which are based in Jharkhand or near by. It may be private or public sector ones. They provide very low package but if you have an ability and you keep on working hard you can be placed anywhere outside by your own talent

College Events

1.5

Foundation day. It is just the one celebration that takes place in a year. It is nice one. No other celebration takes place after that. Current celebration I am not aware off. This is 5 years back news. We never had any tech seminar or debate kind off thing at that time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. They have fee-wavier as per Govt norm for reserved category students. They have some other benefits too ( not aware completely). Even, lodging and food are affordable. Boys lodging is there just for 1st year after that you have to manage on your own.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship. Loan facility is available , not sure for which banks. The fee is not on a higher side.

Campus Life

2

Campus life is good. Buildings are fare enough. Gender ratio is fare. They have both girls and boys in all batched and all branches as per the students interest. There is no any restriction. You can choose any branch as per your interest, based on seats available Diversity is there

Hostel Facilities

3

Never stayed in hostel so not aware of it too great extent. have been to hostel for few times it was neat and clean. They have single room, double sharing , triple sharing and also rooms with 4 girls. Most of them are 3 sharing. Rooms are nice enough.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students are helpful. Seniors are helpful. Even most of the faculty are very helpful.

Exam Structure

Exam happens in every 6 months. There is mid-semester exam also and practical/viva . The exam structure is same as on BIT-Sindri and also the course structure and exam format are same as that of BIT- Sindri. Exam takes place on time and even results are published on time.

Admission

You need to clear JCECE ( Jharkhand combined entrance test). Then, need to apply to the college. College does not have any separate entrance exam. Even direct admission is possible. The admission process is also easy and simple. Fooding and lodging is also affordable. City is not costly so other expenses are also nice, rest depends on the students.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty were ok kind. A few were very good, especially maths. Some were B.tech holder so sometimes it becomes difficult for them to answer a few queries as some students are more curious. Need to get some good faculty to groom students more. This led to more of self-study

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
