Being a medical professional and single parent weekend classes were the only choice for me to improve my skills in healthcare services management.Hence SMU being one of the reputed support for executives I opted this college for my career prospects.MBA degree would also help me to take up correct place in healthcare industry if I wish to have a change from my active clinical practice.

When I got my MBA they had helped interested candidates for finding a better placement through there job portals at SMU/Manipal University tied up with reputed industry players in different streams.

Since I attended weekend classes being a professional I was only focused on gaining knowledge and group discussion.Participated in assessments for skills interested candidates had the opportunity to for college educational tours.Since it is been 5 years down the lane that I got my degree much changes might have for better placement.

Expensive but manageable through loan facility and placement support.Since I was already working I could manage my fees from salary.One regret I have that as I was in the fourth semester I had resign my job and returned to my native place near Manipal for good and started my own family clinic.

Good for deserving candidates.The hostel and food facilities are very good for the students who opted for it.Since I used to go from my home I used to occasionally have food in the MIT campus were we had our regular sessions.During project work also we had the opportunity to have very nutritional mess food.Overall very empathetic and student friendly.

Alumni network is very informative and up to date making those busiest also to be get involved.Career oriented professionals who were forced to be away due to personal reasons can also have an come back opportunity.

Online examination including Theory and practical sessions.We had 4 semisters making it a two years course.After each semester we had theory and practical examination.Three semesters examination I attended in Hyderabad and fourth semester at Manipal.

Entrance,interview and group discussion.I was looking for reputed institution which would help me to develop my skills.Due to personal stresses being ba single parent I did not have the opportunity to take up full time day scholar study.Importantly I was looking into healthcare services. During my craving such opportunities were ample at foreign countries but very few in India.Since my native is in Udupi district I called Manipal University to find out opportunities.Since they did not have MBA in healthcare services they suggested me to join Sikkim Manipal University since they had MBA in Healthcare Services.Thus a with proper channel I got admission.
