The subjects taught to me are truly applicable to real world. These subjects are very adequate for me to achieve my future goals and helps me in attaining required knowledge for the job opportunities available for me. A side of con I observed in teaching these course is that they do not provide presentation teaching which will improve the understanding of the students. Teaching with a ready-made presentation provide visual ideas to the students and it can help them attain clear image about what they study and come up with new ideas upon these studies.

I recently came to see that B.com department is providing intership programs from IIT-Intership and training programs by Kshitij IIT Kharagpur. I also took part it in and it is a 2 month internship program. They also provide additional 7 day crash courses for generative AI, excel etc. The cost for joining these intership is only from 4000-4500. Some are paid interships and some are unpaid. The crash courses will be of free of cost. Both interships and crash courses will to mentored and taught by professional so the students will get good mentoring and gain perfect knowledge about things.

Campus has a good placement cell with various placement opportunities. They select and filter skilled and educated students for campus placements. Here, the hardwork pays off, students are required to work and study hard to get placed in the placement cell. If you didn't got allotted in placement, you can get various other opportunities on the name on the college you graduated as per the college grades provided by NAAC team.

The course I opted is Bachelor of Commerce Finance and Taxation. In this course, they charge ?9000 per semester, and I think this is worth for these type of courses. Bachelor of Commerce also provide add-on courses like coding, tally, excel etc. for students to achieve more knowledge on additional fields. The cost for add-on courses comes from ?3500-?4500 per semester. Campus also provides scholarship programs and intership programs for second semester. And has wide scope for campus placements. This college provide a favourable Placement cell.

Union Christian College provides many clubs and cultural programs. Various clubs have been formed for each performance, for example; d-trix club for dance programs, nature club for environmental activities, Varah club for artistic program like drawing, poster making etc are some clubs. They allow students to create new clubs are groups to come up with new ideas for their personal skill development of for the benefit of other students who study there. Various sports camps are also held at college campus in which students who are interested in sports can actively participate.

As Union Christian College Aluva is a highly reputed college, it considers students with high qualifications and grades. There are seats reservations for Sc/St categories and other different categories. The application process and allotment process may take some time as it is not directly done by the college, application process are run by Mahatma Gandhi University.

There are adequate, qualified teachers for each classes. Every faculty members are qualified enough to be a good teacher. They also provide once in a week mentor sessions, on which we can open up our thoughts and review about the problems in teaching or problems in our personal life. They provide us with healing words and words that help us to move on in any situations. We are allowed to approach them at anytime and interact our ideas and thoughts to them. They will be always available at our time of need.
