Insides of D.P. Vipra college, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh

From my experience, I believe that the curriculum is somehow getting outdated & its application in real life is not that significant. The curriculum must be updated along with the facilities available in labs & laboratories to make students capable to compete in real world. The teaching method needs to focus on better notes making, regularity in class. The level of exams conducted are of good level difficulty & requires top-notch preparation to score good marks in the exams. The master course provide examination twice a year while the bachelor course conducts exam once in a year

The total fees I would pay for my 2 years masters degree course is round 37000 to 40000 ? which includes semester fees, exam fees & other small charges you have to pay throughout my course. Scholarship is provided under student welfare scheme which gives half the amount of the total semester fees we have to pay as scholarship. The place in our college under Bilaspur University is totally dead their is almost null chances of getting any placement in campus.

Annual function is conducted every year in the month December & a science fare maybe conducted once in every 2-3 years. Along with this garba celebration & other small festival are celebrated. Library do lack alot of important books and most the books are in hindi & the books which are in English are about women empowerment & feminism. You will not find a single English novel in the general library of D.P. Vipra college, Bilaspur, C.G. Sports like chess, carrom, badminton, kho & kabaddi are typically held. And D.P. vipra bilaspur college do not have enough large space to conduct a proper cricket or football tournament. College have smart class facility & a gym which do not open at all. Student run group called ashirwad panel is responsible for conducting various activities inside the college campus.

Students are selected via merit basis of previous course aggregate and no need to qualify any specific exam to take admission. Faculty like assistant professor & lecturer are well qualified with atleast SET/NET qualified but somehow lack teaching experience Some of the faculties are rude to students while many will try to understand & solve your problem. The student teacher ratio is about 10:1. Teachers are approachable but their attitude towards the students is not so healthy & they don't want to indulge in complicated issues (medical problems, students with backs, students who are poor in performing practicals in labs)
