Review On GLBITM

The curriculum of the course in first year is same for all branch students as they have to read the core subjects of all the branches but from second year the curricular becomes different for different branches as they read their subjects. The curricular is somehow manage to prepares you for real world but not perfect there are some loop holes that can be filled by adding some more real world subjects. The sem exam (A.K.T.U) is of 70 marks and very easy as compare to the college exam (P.U.T). Sometimes the checking of the copy is not accurate in sem exam as you are not getting the expected marks and you have to challenge it for the re evaluation.

As second year students, I am not known too much about internship but internship opportunities are provided by the starting of fourth year. The companies visited in the college is like Junglee games, Juspay and many more for internship and later for placements. All companies need good projects and command on DSA is also necessary for high packages.

Students from seventh semester is eligible for the placement as they get the chance of internship as well as for placement. College provide sufficient companies in the college for the skilled students. There are many companies that visit college. Some of them are like JP Morgan, Autodesk, Junglee games, etc. The highest package is of 58L given by the Paloalto. College is manage to get the average package of 6 lakh.

The fees of the college is bit expensive. The first year fees is 151000 and for second and third year it is 141000 as there is some relief in library and security fees and the fees for fourth year is 151000 as fees increases for placement department. The tution fees is 105000 and after adding several amount for different things the fees increases. Uttar Pradesh government provide scholarship for the students who are taken admission from UPTAC counselling but not for direct admission students. At the starting of fourth year college provide the internship opportunities to students and it all depends on the students skills to grab that given opportunities.

The campus life in the college is not so good in first year as in first year the students are not allowed to participate in any club and club activities. As a first year students your only task is to focus on studies. From second year students can join various clubs and activities organized by the club. There are not so many functions only 2-3 function like freshers party, Dandiya nights and farewell party. The college focus to organize various seminar and tech talks. The range of books and journals in the Library is pretty good and the infrastructure of the library is also good. There are two library in the campus. The classroom is something like school type classes and there are some classes that are good and projector facility is there in the class and there is no facility of AC in any of the classroom. College also focuses on the sports activities as there are ground for basketball, volleyball and badminton court.

The first year hostel is decent. The room is pretty spacious in comparison to outside hostels. Common bathroom are provided on the both side on each floor. The quality of the food is not so good. The food is the typical Hostel type and restrictions on the first year students is too much and there is another hostel for senior (all year except first) and food is same for both the hostel but senior hostel is not so good regarding hygiene and many aspects. Hostels are provided on the time on registration by paying 100% fees but you can pay it later (some portion) if you have any source in the college. If you rented a flat or any pg then alpha 2 is the best place for it and outside hostels for quality food is like AB and Annapurna hostels.

The college come under the aktu so for getting admission in Gl Bajaj individual can go through the UPTAC counselling and counselling is done on the basis of JEE Mains percentile and if individual get low percentile or fail to give the JEE Mains but get good grades in intermediate then they can get admission in College by direct method. The paper is of 70 marks and of 3 hours duration and pretty easy and the paper is fixed from previous year papers. The area of improvement is their checking of the answer copies as many students not getting marks as their expectations.

The faculty is good in the college. Some faculty is too good for their subjects. I personally think that the faculty-to-student ratio is very low but they somehow manage all the students. The teacher always try to make things easy for the students
