Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

we had a CBME curriculum which means the competency based medical education according to the NATIONAL MEDICAL COUNCIL ( NMC ). The curriculum is followed throughly and implemented by the departments to a great extent.

Internships Opportunities

4

We do an internship at the end of the final year of our MBBS graduation which is according to the guidelines of the NMC. we have opportunities to undertake any research in the graduate level which are very helpful.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for an year course is 55000 per annum for a student who secured the seat in convenor quota ( category A ). The tution fee is same for all the years as decided by the University. The hostel fee is about 1,35,000 per annum for a room shared by 3 members which is provided with a bed, table, chair, and a shelf for each. The hostel fee structure is quite expensive for the worth of the facilities provided. The Mess fee is 4200 per month for a hostel student and it is worth of it.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is well equipped with all the infrastructure. It provides a health environment to the students to pursue their course. The central library is well equipped with all books of all the subjects and the latest medical journals It gives enough encouragement to the development in technology by providing access to the free wifi all over the campus. Sports and cultural events have a special place and are conducted frequently creating a stress free environment. The club activities are ample which create interest in the student in studying and participating in various events.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel room is shared by 3 students They are provided with a bed, table, chair and a shelf. The meal quality is pretty good and adjustable. The registration process for hostel and mess is along with the admission process of the college .

Admission

The Eligibility of the course is through the NATIONAL ENTRANCE CUM EXAMINATION TEST ( NEET ) which is conducted all over India for entrance into MBBS graduation course. The application and the examination details are given by the NMC committee through its website. We availed the reservation benefits of OBC category during the process of seat allotment. The NEET exam is conducted yearly once and consists of 200 MCQ questions within 3 hours of time. I feel that the seat process can be without the basis of reservation benefits as it would provide equal opportunity to everyone.

Faculty

4.5

The number of faculty are pretty good in each and every department. They are friendly and supportive in our studies and any research works. we had great experiences with them in the process of course.

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
