Course Curriculum Overview
The course is rightfully planned dividing the entire syllabus into five years. The prospect of studying political science with law was something that intrigued me. semester exams take place twice a year, one in May and the other in December, apart from that students also must opt for the mid-semester and assignments work.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships through in-campus where one has to apply first and after clearing the interview process, secure the internship, which is mostly offered by law firms and ngos in Pune and around India.
Placement Experience
The placement is not as great in the college, students if they opt for placements through college may secure a job for 4-6 LPA. It is best to look for placements off campus or if one already has decided to opt for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee ranges between 90000 to 100000 for general students every year with an expected hike of 5% annually. However, the annual fees have probably increased to 150000 from 2024 for first-year students and are expected to be the same every year since. However, the students will Maharashtra domicile have to pay around 30000 every year while the management quota students pay around 200000 every year.
Campus Life
The college has its annual fest called Abhinay in the month of March. It is the time the whole college comes together to celebrate and make greater bonds with each other. the college has clubs like the Moot Court Society and Legal Aid, and sports like basketball, cricket, and kabaddi are also encouraged.
Admission
The eligibility is based on the university entrance exam called CET. A minimum of 60 marks is required for admission. All the important information regarding admission can be found on the official college website.
Faculty
Every class is attended by 5-6 teachers based on semesters. all of the faculty are phd or master's degree holders in their respective subjects. the faculty is helpful and can be contacted at any point in time. needless to say, they do their best to make students understand their particular subjects.
Interview Experience
I didn't have a group discussion, but rather just a PI after the written exam where in I was asked about my goals and how I align them with this college. the prep for this exam is nothing different than the CLAT Exam.
