Likes
- The university is located in the middle of Pune which is often referred to as a Educational hub in India. Students get to interact with many other students of different universities and gain a lot of experience.
- It also has a placement cell which gives you various internship opportunities. The college provides various certificate courses to upskill oneself and enhance your CV. Weather of pune is one of the main factor why people choose this place
- The faculty is good but not regular. The college provides various opportunities and co-curricular activities to participate in. Moot courts, sporting events, fests etc. Many guests lectures and seminars allow you to interact with top professionals.
Dislikes
- The crowd in the college is ok, I'll not say good as students come from every corner of India.Everything depends upon your company. If one has good friends and company, pune will feel like a great place to him but if not then it is very difficult.
- The college is too greedy. They listen to only one thing, Money....Money...Money. The administration office staff is very rude and won't tell you easy solutions. They will either reject your demand or will provide a difficult way to get it.
- Placements are not good and packages are very less.There are very rare on campus Placements. The infrastructure is not good at all. During monsoons the whole campus becomes like a swampland. The infrastructural facilities are very poor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and the college provides almost all the courses and subjects required to study in Law. There are various optional subjects too which according to the interest of the students are designed. These topics and various activities are relevant to the course and gives you experience and knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The college has contacts with various firms and advocate and the placement cell provides various internship opportunities and they have links with them. One has to be in touch and be updated with the placement cell to grab these internship opportunities. The stipend is very less or nil in this field. The tasks are to do research work in the field of law and the various cases that the advocates and firms deal with.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell which will give you various opportunities and internships at good placea if you grab them effectively. But in terms of placement the college is not that good. There are very less placements happening on campus. The students have to work hard and grab the Off-Campus placements. One can also give various competitive exams related to law field. The average package in campus place is between 3 Lakhs to 4 lakhs that too very rare.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees as compared to various other law colleges is very less, i would say its half. It is affordable provided that the fee keeps increasing 5% every year but that too will not increase the fee that much. The exam fees is also not that high. There is one more quota i.e. the Management quota where the fee is half the actual fee, students can also take thw advantage of that quota by getting information about it from the college. There are campus placements but very less and that too not good. So better to upskill yourself and find placements off campus.
Campus Life
The overall experience was moderate. Not too good. The crowd and the people i met there were not so great. There are various fests and activities happening every year but for that you require good lot of friends and a great company of people. The college has a library where most of the books related to the law field are available. There are sports activities happening throughout the year.
Admission
The college conducts its entrance exam. The application form of which is provided in their official website. All the information regarding fees and notifications are all provided in the college's official website. The admission process is a bit frustrating as the administration staff is very rude and non cooperative. But eventually it happens. The administration should be more effective and the staff should be more cooperative and less rude.
Faculty
The faculty is good. The teachers are good in terms of qualifications. Some of them are highly qualified and good in terma of handling students but a few percent of faculty is very less cooperative. They don't like to indulge in talks with students and give them directions and solutions but the good point is that the percent of such teachers is very less as most of the teachers and faculties are good and cooperative and provide student insight about the law field and the opportunities the subject and this particular field gives in National and international level.
