Course Curriculum Overview
As an arts student I always aimed to do masters in archaeology and ancient history.thats why I choose to study history honours from the college. As I have already took admission in another course before and couldn't complete that I had to do the studies along with my work. That's why for my convenience I took admission in the campus. Course curriculum is based on cbcs method with 6 semesters in three years covering an overall aspects of Indian as well as world history. Exams are conducted twice a year each in an interval of six months. But the university conduct the final exams at the year end in December. There is a assignment submission before exam, to be done in online method.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are really affordable. I took admission with 3000 rs in 2021. And paid another 2700 for exam fees . It is same for all the three years . Total course fees : 18000 (approximate) Scholarships are available for students.
Campus Life
It was really great. As there were many cultural and festivals were held in the campus. Holi, vasanta utsav, annual sports day,, annual function are held in great charms. The college library is huge and available with all the course materials. Students can easily avail them . Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and boards for teaching purposes. Social groups and clubs are held, students take parts in many of them .
Admission
Eligibility criteria: have to pass class 12th from any recognised boards , with minimum 50% marks . Application can be made by the online method Reservation of seats are available for sc,st, obc,PWD, and ews students No admission tests are taken, after applying online you will have to visit the college for documents verification and then pay the fees .
Faculty
The teachers are quite helpful in the college,but students are absent from the classes. Teachers and the principal could have been more strict about students behaviour in the campus and also about attending the classes. Teachers are well and good with their credibility, teaches well as they are really experts of their concerned subjects. Students who seek for help are always welcomed by them.
