Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have done graduation in agriculture, the course is good, the scope is good and most importantly, we get a lot of practical based knowledge and we apply the terms of this course in our real world. This course is also quite familiar with a middle class student, so there is not much difficulty, so I chose this course

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very good. Even a middle class student can complete his college easily. To complete graduation from B.Sc. Ag, fees of around 35000 is charged for 4 years with practical Here you are provided 2 scholarships which help a lot in completing the course, first among them is Uttar Pradesh government scholarship and the other is Mandi Parishad scholarship

Campus Life

2.5

• There is no annual function in the college. • The library in college is good, you get every course's book and daily news Paper is available. • Sports activities keep happening, university level games and marathons are conducted

Hostel Facilities

3

• The hostel rooms are well settled which are occupied by 2 candidates. • Hostel meal is good, we get food twice a day, green vegetables and hot meal is served • The form for hostel admission is available from the cooperative, you have to fill it and submit it. • PG or rented room is available in Khandari, Bodla with good facilities

Admission

• If you want to take admission in BSc AG then you must have completed 12th from any stream with minimum 60% marks • The application form for admission will be available on the university website www.dbrau.org and first of all you have to do web registration After that, you have to fill the admission form of the college in which you want to take admission and submit it online from the college website. • Admission is based on 10th or 12th merit, so you have to wait for the merit list. Previous year's cut-off was between 100 and 130, so if you are eligible, you will get admission

Faculty

1.5

The faculty and student ratio in the university is quite good, almost 1:30. The faculty is well educated and disciplined but the interaction with the students is not good.Students have to wait a lot to meet teachers, even in project work, instructions are not given properly which can help the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
