Course Curriculum Overview

B.Com( International Finance and Accounting) is for duration of 3 years of six semesters. It is aimed at developing to achieve globally recognized professional qualifications including. This course helps the students to gain confidence and competence in Management accounting. The study material used for International Finance and Accounting is Kaplan.

Internships Opportunities

In St Joseph University Bangalore it has no internships for UG. But has alot of internship programs for Pg students. I really dont know about the package and roles of the intership offered. I heard from my friend.

Placement Experience

St Joseph University of Banglore has excellent placements offer. We get a lot of successful companies. I got offer from ICICI Bank .The package would be from 4 to 5 lakh per annum. But the package would be same for both UG and PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for BCOM (INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING) is 95000 per year. So for three years 2,85,000. It includes separate fees for each professional paper. In my college, there are a lot of scholarship options. Anyone can apply for each year.

Campus Life

St Joseph University has the best environment for the all-round development of an individual. A superb balance is made between academics and extracurricular activities. The professors are really interesting. The library is good.

Admission

My admission process was very smooth. I got my admission in 2019. I had no entrance exam . But don't know about the current year. In my batch, I had three rounds of interviews. For attending the interview be prepared about the college rules and regulations.

Faculty

At St Joseph University Bangalore professors are excellent at teaching; they make it look easy, and they are well-qualified in top study areas from well-known universities. Thus course curriculum is relevant, and they make students ready for the professional world.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

From Classes to Campus Life: Why I Chose ISME

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.
