College, Hostel, Campus Review of Government medical college, Ambikapur

Mbbs course forms doctor which is a global profession and was my dream so I opted for this course. In this college the course mbbs curriculum is well oriented scheduled and well implemented as programmed Teaches so well that enables me to apply in the real world but you must make your efforts in your studies only depending on college classes would not to enough. The MBBS course duration is 4.5 years which accounts for 4 academic years each academic year ends with a university exam in which you must score 50% to pass and be promoted to the next academic session the exam is quite difficult. During the academic session college itself takes 2 internals and one pre-university exam which prepare students for the university exam.

For MBBS course through any college there is compulsory internship after course ( that is after 4.5 years) in the same hospital associated with college. The stipend is INR 18000 per month after MBBS. During internship you need to work as a intern Doctor and learn and treat patients.

For mbbs course tuition fee is INR 40,000 per year INR 3500 per year for hostel fee and INR 6000 per year non management fee for hostel library and others. No any policy to increase fee till now. Course duration is of 4 academic year means approx 2 lakh of total fee including tuition and other non tuition fees. Scholarship only given to state quota students depending on their reservation policy but no any scholarship to all india quota students . Campus employment include guards which take care of hostel attendance , watering plants.

There is a annual fest named KARWAN but did not help since 2022, but small events during Janmastmi , ganesh puja are held . Enough amount of books are available for each subject, for book accessibility library is open from 9am to 5pm and for self study library is open till 9pm. Classroom are provided with smart board , projector, white board and mic with speaker , Air conditioner vents are installed in classrooms but not functional till now ,hope will work in future. Zero club environment, no student portals are present During fest held sports like race, cricket , table tennis ,volleyball are held, but during normal days no any extracurrical activities are going on as no such environment in campus

Each room is provied with 1 wall fan , adequate light source ,2 bed , 2 table , 2 chair and 2 inbuilt wall almirah as each room is alloted with 2 students. Meal provied is average in hostel which of INR 3200 per month other than tuition and non tuitional fees. Many students has set their meal from outside the campus. During admission you can fill a application in demand of hostel and you will definetly get one and its very affordable with INR 3500 per year (no others charges for electricity). Electricity and water availability is good enough. Rented rooms or PG are easily availabe round campus areas.

Eligibility of course is 12th pass with at least PCB. To apply for the course a student must appear in the NEET exam and based on rank in the exam respective college will be allowed. During my admission the 2022 session cut-off for all India quota was around 21000 India rank ( as I got this college through all India quota) Form for NEET comes every year around February and the exam will be conducted around the first week of May at all India levels. during the counselling process fee detail of the college was addressed. After allotment admission process was quite simple faculties helped a lot during admission.

Faculties are well educated here, Like the associate professors , head of department professor are post graduation on their educated and assistant professors are at least graduation , In every department their are atleast 5 to 6 faculty including HODs ,Associate, Assistant professors and demontrators per 125 students wich not excellent but enough, i dont feel any problem regarding teaching staff numbers . Faculties are very friendly and polite to students every student can approach any faculty when he or she needs them like in doubt regarding subject or can share personal problem regarding studies or other reasonable problems faculties try their best to resolve it . We can intract with teachers easily in class hours and can have a talk on call after class hour or hostlers can visit to teacher quarter if needed
