Remarks

You need to appear for NEET and secure marks above the cutoff for the college. The average cutoff for GMC Ambikapur is around 550 above for general non-ews students. You can receive admission details on the college's website.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty is more than sufficient and all of them with good qualification Actually, in GMC, the faculty members get transferred from one college to another so it's not like any college will have better teachers rather faculty is almost at the same level. Exams are regular. Viva and class tests are regular.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You need to do an internship at the district hospital Ambikapur (the college's own hospital ) You get good clinical exposure as the district hospital has good patient inflow. The stipend is provided to all interns and after the internship, you need to serve for a rural bond which is for 2 years in Chhattisgarh

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 50000 which breaks down to 40000 ( tuition fees) plus 10000 ( other government charges ). You can get a scholarship if you belong to SC/ST/OBC for which you need to fill out a form which you can get from the college department. You get a stipend during the internship.

Campus Life

4

All major festivals are celebrated. Fest is organised annually. The library is full of books which you may ever need for your studies. You can play all basic sports like Table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton etc. And you can issue equipment for these from the college

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Infrastructure is improving. New hostel buildings are constructed which are very good You get a room at Sharing with one of your batchmates which is 2 students in one room. There are separate hostels for girls and boys and separate for different batches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you're getting into MBBS, you have cleared neet and you have a slight idea of what you're getting yourself into. The subjects are tough, especially anatomy, because of the vastness of the subject. But if you're consistent and making lil efforts everyday, it's achievable without hampering the fun part of college life. Here are a few gem of resources that everyone uses for first year. Biochemistry - jambhulkar notes, Vasudevan/ satyanarayan book Lippincott for advanced studies Physiology - Sembulingam and Guyton. I swear by them. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Ganong for in depth studies Anatomy - Johari for exams Vishram Singh for easy to understand language and super simple diagrams Gray's anatomy for in depth understanding. Embryology - vishram Singh Histology - IB Singh Dissection - Cunningham or Mercy Navis There will be 2 terminal exams 1 pre University and then the final University. Don't rely on lectures to prepare you for this. You'll have to teach yoursel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I always wanted to be a doctor by joining this college and this course it will help me to achieve this aim. if I talk about the faculty: student ratio it may be somewhere around 10 students per faculty. all the faculty members are highly qualified professional doctors, everyone is having a professional degree postgraduate and above. their teaching method is up to the mark. more focus is given on practical knowledge rather than only bookish knowledge. in one year one university exam is conducted and one pre-university exam which comprises of practical and theory both. apart from this two terminal exams on an average 5-part completion test are also organized to test the knowledge of the student. the exams are quite a bit difficult as the syllabus is highly vast. one has to regularly study the concepts and thoroughly understand them so as to pass the exam.

Every one of the divisions has capable and experienced educators who are instructed at the best levels and urge understudies to self-notice. The personnel of the school is prepared and consistently accessible for any assistance and questions.

There are lots and lots of good stuff about our college thats why we love our college, not even us everybody has emotional attachment with their college. Friends teachers staff patients all provide a very friendly environment which is the best part of college life. There are also some very minor disadvantages but they are nothing compared to the good stuff, just the most irritating thing is the small campus
