Very good campus located at the foothills with beautiful greeneries and a mesmerizing view of sunset.
Away from noises coming from the daily routine of the society.

Dislikes

Unavailability of a football field which was built just as I graduated.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite okay but can be improved a little. It does help us prepare for the real world experience as practicals are a major part of the curriculum and the college doesn't shy away from focussing on it.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 24800 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement rate is quite High with more than 50% students getting placements every year. The campus placements start from 6th semester and the average packages ranges from 6-12 lpa with some going till 20+ lpa too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure is quite good, especially for us ST students but overall it's good for everyone as it is a central government college. Students can apply for scholarships too and the campus employment rate is quite high.

Campus Life

There are several clubs to join for the students that lines with their interests and hobbies. The major fest of the college is called Ekarikthin which is quite a big event. There are also sub events that takes place throughout the academic calendar.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are what you'd expect any other college hostel to be like. It's not the best but it's doable with the basic facilities provided. Mess is ok but not the best but depends on the mess contractors too.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

To get into any NIT you need to crack the JEE exam and your marks in that exam will decide which you'll get. JOSAA is the website to get the admission into NITs and it's quite a simple process to do it.

Faculty

The teachers and professors are really good and friendly with the exception of a selected few with a normal everywhere. They are well qualified and interacting with them is quite easy as they are very open minded and approachable.

The course offered here is UG, PG and Phd. Their are many curriculum activities like, there is a sports weak in the campus and even inter campus events. Debet compition, and a national event which is organised by my university i.e Techaura in which other universitys participate.

For CSE, I choose this college. The girl's-boys ratio in our college is 1:3. To pass the exams is not that much difficult but getting a good score is quite difficult. The professors are friendly and they teach us very well.

Admission:

I had to first write an entrance exam which is specific to engineering field. The ranks allotted on the basis of the exam got me into this college at the counselling. After which the process was very simple and I just had to report to the college with the required documents.

Remarks:

Remarks:

in my final words i would like to say that, my college NITn is a new college but its growing vigorously. still college provides every facility to the students at an level best as compared to other will established colleges.Academic and management of this college is very good and they are working for students shake and they also ask suggestions from students. we decide together what needs to be done and how. for refreshment we use to play games, the department buildings, hostels are are fully wifi enables with high speed.college also provides sufficient times for vacation and organizes tours.finally this college is very good and i can gladly say that come take admission here and enjoy life as well as get education and lets make a better future.

I written JEE Mains and I got 95.25 percentile in the year of 2019 and I got civil engineering department, here first we need to apply for college through nta websites and you need have income certificate and caste certificate if applicable, mainly you need to in time of college application date where you need to pay 35000 for changing of colleges or branches by round by round at last by confirming college you need to pay 35000 after that first 2 semesters are easy and same for everyone and after the exam difficulty will increase year by year I won't recommend Civil engineer to join in this college better to join near by college and I recommend ece and eie or cse these are good...Read More
