Dislikes
- The environment is a little too extra with the people.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite informative and covers various aspects of psychology. It revolves around many disciplines which is a good part of it and students get a choice between subject options as per their interests.
Internships Opportunities
The course does not really include internship opportunities but instead, it is mandatory to intern at a particular NGO in the second year and clinical setting in the third year for the psychology program. It does not include a stipend. The university does help in finding internships.
Placement Experience
I really dont know much about the placement opportunities yet because I have not been through but in my knowledge, there are a few students who have got job opportunities through campus placements. I will pursue a master's after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an availability of scholarships based on the cbse class 12 results and that continues to the next year if certain cgpa are maintained. Campus employment includes placement cell training and rest though it does not ensure placements.
Campus Life
My overall experience until now has been a combination of a fun, informative and good journey. Campus life is fun with friends around. The library is very vast and thats a good part of my university. The clubs are not much of a thing here whereas fests and sports are more fun and are conducted in a very nice manner.
Admission
The admission process is very relaxing. I scored 94% in the class 12 cbse board examination so my application process was not similar to others. My admission was fast-tracked and it did not include the personal interview process too.
Faculty
The faculty of various departments and courses varies. Personally according to my experience the faculty of psychology department includes quite educated and knowledgeable professors but also includes some phd scholars who teach for the sake of it, so its basically balanced out.
