What Students Say

Likes

We have a spacious library where we can prepare for competitive exams and the library timings are from 9:00 to 11:30 .The employees at library very recieving and we find a lot of books related tp law , engineering and business and i found all books
For geotechnical we have seperate building for lab and classes
we have very big for audiotorium for all kinds of fests and gatherings

Dislikes

The placement for masters students are very less
there are few buildings which are very old so needs to be rennovated
We need to pay bank challan instead of online payment

The cirriculum is old it needs to be updated since we have a l0ot of applications of artifical intelligence and machine learning in field of geotechnical engineering needs to update it not only in jntu but all government institutes like few iit and nit as well

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually there are 2 types of intakes one is regular for that fee is 50K and self finance the fee is 100K and we have epass scholarship of 57000 for BC,OC & EWS Students but for sc ,st and bc-e we have full fee reimbursment and we get 12800 montly stipund for gate students

Campus Life

we have annual tech fest sthpatsya in department of civil engineering,we have wide range of accessing journals like scopus springer in jntu library within college wifi and the classroom infrastruture also very new we have we equipped indoor stadium and swimming pool and student organisations as well

Admission

For getting into jntu we need got pgecet rank or we need to clear GATE Exam ,firstly I wrote tspgecet exam and got good rank in the entrance exam and alloted into geotechnical engineering in jntu hyderabad

Faculty

In our geotechnical department we have 4 faculty in which they are very experinced in field knoweldge and we have learnt alot from them .faculty not only teach classes but they provide alot of career insights for our future career

My experience in NIT warangal

Placement Experience:

Replacements are very good here we can eligible for the placement after the second sem and we are eligible for the internship after the seconds have also company business visited are the webpack Bajaj TVS Hero motocorps these are the companies that frequently visited here Simon is Simon is also there it on is also there have highest average LP is like 20 lpa hair percentage of students getting place is 92%

From placement point of view our collage is in top. Almost 80-90% student got placement in top companies. Jacob, wsp atkins amd more top companies came for placement. Highest package was i guess 14lpa . If some not got placement then he do choose phd.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.
