Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was kind of interesting and made us explore the various aspects and the application of the course. It opened all doors to the research field related to the course. Knowing more about the course integral part of the journey. The exams were kind of easy for us and we all made it pretty well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The management in the beginning took a huge amount from us but following that we only paid the semester exam fees when the notification arrived in the university. They were really helping when this scholarship was brought. Central scholarships and state scholarships all were provided. Various scholarships for underprivileged students were provided. Central sector scholarship inspires she scholarship were available.

Campus Life

Various clubs like drama clubs, music clubs, and dance clubs wear there and they actually participate in most of the programs in the college. Different departments conducted various fests and programs. Comparatively full-day programs were short. Some of the computers and projectors weren't working properly. Sports Day, Youth Festival, and College Day, we are celebrated in the college.

Admission

The course offered Limited seats still the process was kind of helpful for the students. The staff in the admission area were nice and helpful. All forms and fees were paid in the office. Egrants were provided for underprivileged students.

Faculty

Faculty to student is almost 6:10. Some of them seriously took class while the remaining weren't cooperative. Out of 10, I'll rate 8. They took classes using PowerPoint presentations and all. So made the classes more interesting. The teachers were really friendly.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

I joined this college on merit. Didn't apply for any other college. I choose this college to explore a new place different from where i have been and also this course is available only in few colleges and among those colleges i liked this one. I didn't opt other colleges cause there was no much options The way i joined is through merit and for me i got a sponsor letter from my place and directly came to the college. Pros and cons of Alphonsa college, pala

The admission process was not that much of a hustle. It was easy.. It doesnt was any entrance exams.. They take students through merit list and management quota. As no. Of students in india is decreasing there is no much cut off.as they need more students. You can apply for management quota through the college website www.alphonsacollege others admit through allotement process of mg university. As i said reservation benefits are there.. Best for your CGPA

It is a women's college, so women do have the utmost freedom inside the campus but it is still kind of a strict college. Studies are given more importance than anything hence Alphonsa never fails to bag most of the university ranks. Sports is one of the trademarks of the college, apart from the studies. Alphonsa always grabs the women's championship title in M.G. university sports meet. We can see teachers who are so dedicated to teaching all around the college.
