Likes
- Campus is very spacious and beautiful. It is not all clumped up in one building. Different branches have their seperate buildings
- Cultural activities, fests take place yearly. Apt attention is given to sports and cultural events.
- Discipline is strictly followed here. Everything from dress code to class timings is strict.
Dislikes
- The course is a bit outdated. Teh concepts taught are not in use im industry in present day.
- There are no acs around the campus, so it gets very difficult in summers.
- The semester checking is very strict, it does not allow you to score very good marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is highly outdated. None of the matter taught are useful in present day industry. One needs to get internships to undestand how industries work. The exams are super easy if you are doing presvious year papers, however the checking is very strict and random and marks are often increased in rechecking.
Internships Opportunities
Our training and placement office is very helpful and informs us of all job openings and internships at the end of third year. They are all fitting to whatever branch we are in. Cadence is the biggest company that takes interns. It is a VLSI design company and is very reputed. Students may also get ppo if they work hard.
Placement Experience
Placements are good for cse, it and ece. It is average for other branches such as civil, mechanical and electrical. The average package is of 8lakh and highest is of 48 lakh. Nowadays, masters is valued a lot more, so I'll be going for masters afterwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee strcuture is highly stable and remains around 1 lakh approximately. The college is affiliated with a government college because of which there is no sudden hike in fees at any time. It is regulated. Scholarships are provided for ews, govt students, army kids.
Campus Life
Multirange of stidents, from all over uttar pradesh and some from other states come to this college. Everyone is very friendly. There are sometimes cases of goons but it is solved immediately. Campus life is very fun due to all cultural activities. There are various clubs, around 24, each providing both technical and non technical experiences.
Admission
The JEE paper is used for admission in first year and UPTU lateral entry paper for admission in second year. The JEe paper is tough because of such high competition. The cut off for cse in my college goes only upto rank 50k. There are some seats reserved for management quota and students can easily access them.
Faculty
Most of the faculty teaching have a PHD in their respective subjects. There is distinct facility for each subject with some being very knowledgable. They are all very helpful and friendly. My ECE department is a good mixture of strict and friendly.
