Likes
- One of the major positives of nirma university is it's infrastructure and environment. The university has 105 acres of land with a separate building for each institute, and loads of greenery spread throughout.
- The university also has good facilities for sports which includes a cricket field, football ground, basketball court etc.
- Cultural activities are highly encouraged throughout the university, where each institute has its flagship event every year
Dislikes
- The new 15 floor building in which the BBA classes take place, have no air conditioning in the classes. The reason is that the building is still under construction.
- The drainage system of the university is very poor. Water clogging happens quite often during the monsoon season.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at IMNU offers a wide range of subject which create help to create a strong foundation which is required in the current world. This includes subject like business law, programming, personality development, finance, HR, etc. Exams: they are usually scheduled at the end of each term. Along with this continous asssessment through quizes, assignments and mid term exams takes place.
Internships Opportunities
After the completion of each academic year, every student has to undergo the Summer Internship Program. Each student has to take up an internship for a required period of time as per the university guidlines. 1st Year: NGO Internship (4 weeks)(Unpaid) 2nd Year: Corporate Internship (6 weeks)(Paid) 3rd Year: Corporate Intership (8 weeks)(Paid)
Placement Experience
In the BBA+MBA course campus placements are offered after the MBA phase. Major companies visit Nirma for placements, these include: Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Nestle, TCS, Wipro, ITC etc. The highest package can go upto Rs. 25L CTC per annum, while the average package ranges between 8-12L CTC per annum. Approximately 90% of the students get an offer through campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee remains constant throughout the duration of the course for each batch. However it is increased for each new batch every year according to industry norms. The total cost of education for my batch is approximately Rs.20,00,000 (BBA+MBA) for general category students. Scholarships are offered at the time of admission based on merit and , means.
Campus Life
The campus life is great at IMNU. There are various clubs and committes. Admission

Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good at nirma university, particularly at the institute of mangement. Each faculty also acts as a faculty mentor to a bunch of students. The students can approach their mentor for all sorts of problems they face. All faculties at IMNU have Ph.d and adjust to teaching methods comfortable by majority of the students.
Interview Experience
IPMAT is conducted by IIM Indore which includes topics of verbal ability and quantitative ability. The personal interview includes few personality based question and a few question related to past academics. I prepared for these rounds on my own.
