Likes

The college professors are very professional and helping they love helping us in any part of life
College has greenery and u can see cute dogs around the college
It is a 100 year old college so it has a great alumini base

Dislikes

The classrooms in which the lectures are conducted does not have air conditioning or coolers it just have some fans
The adminsitration of the college is also not very helpful
Classroom benches are also old and does not have enough leg space and comfort

I chose this course because i was interested in learning about business and law together The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real life applications and further academic pursuits Teaching methods of our teachers are really fine mostly i would suggest they should start modernising our teaching style and it will be fine The frequency and timings of our exams are a bit difficult exams that are held are easy but the time we get is a little bit less

Students are elligible for the campus placements from 5th year Highest package of our college is 21 lakhs And the lowest is 3.5 lakhs 70-80 % students get placed I plan on going for corporates after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 25000 the rates are going to be same unless they decide to increase it We have to pay 1000 extra for the library fees and thats it The college itself informs about the scholarship programmes so no need to worry abt their also a scholarship named FFE u can check out that too

Campus Life

The name of our annual fest is legalease It is held in april and goes on for a week You get all the important books available in the library you get scc online access with pc's in library It has a smart board some old benches and tables and some fans Sports are also held during legalease and are very well played and enjoyed here

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in hostel are Wifi,bed,fan,table and chair Food quality is also fine U need to apply for it while the admission process of your college also you can rent pgs or appartments nearby in karve nagar of gokhale nagar for some good accomodation

Admission

The eligiblity for the course is that the person should score more than 45 percentage in 12 th std You have to give mht cet law to get into any government college The application costs around 1500 rupees The exams difficulty level is medium and time given is also enough for the applicant Get all your documents ready and place it in a neat and tidy folder and bring all things that are needed

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio i think it is accurate not very much or less The faculties at ILS pune is really great you get highly educated teachers at our college and they mentor you really well We can interact with our teachers during our lectures and also after our lectures they are very approachable and are ready to reach out to you

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

All About ILS Law College, Pune

Placement Experience:

The college is known for campus placements in every sector especially corporate and practices at the Hon'ble High Courts and the apex Supreme Court of India. Many also opt for going into the judiciary and become High Courts and Supreme Judges. Many legal luminaries and stalwarts including former Chief Justice of India Y.V. Chandrachud and late Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh are an alumnus of the college. The companies usually come for recruitment in the final year of the course i.e, the 3rd year or the sixth semester to be eligible for placements. The college also provides pre-placement training. Law students are not recruited to placements, they enhance their skills participating in national and international moot courts, arbitration and mediation competitions across the globe. Various law firms which visit are Khaitan and Co., Mindtree, Mulla and Craig and many other reputed organizations. The highest placement is around 13 LPA. 70% placements.

ILS law college is a great college with established history of more than 100 years. It has great alumni base, good placements, beautiful campus and affordable fee structure. I appeared for clat but I could not get any NLU. I believe my preparation lagged in some aspects of practice. I got accepted in Symbiosis Law college Pune. Comparison of SLS Pune and ILS Pune - 1. fees - ILS total fees - 204000 SLS total fees - 2000000 2. ILS has better alumni and long term history 3. ILS has better and bigger campus than SLS 4. SLS has better placements than ILS. 5. ILS has better campus life than SLS. Other than SLS pune, I got admitted in Nirma college of Law and Army institute of Mohali. I chose ILS Pune over them because of the overall exposure that the college provided my and fees structure that better suited to my needs. Admission process of ILS Pune is through MHCET exam Once you clear it, you appear for counselling rounds, and give your preference of universities. Then according to your rank the college is alloted, you can lock it or put for upgradation. ILS: A OVERVIEW

The only option i had after i did not clear CLAT was this exam , i gave MHTCET i did not get GLC as the cutoff for MS was 112 i got 110 so i had to come to GLC i had no other option and hence forth i decided to get ILS , its a great college has one of the most renowned CJI as alumni and also the Chief Minister of Maharshtra so it's a great thing to get admission into this college.
