Ground Reality of VIT BHOPAL UNIVERSITY.

The curriculum gets updated along with the change in trend and the relevance of the subject or course remains as per market requirements. The curriculum really helps you for real world applications as the university has tie ups with the placement training companies which helps you gain the current trend and prepare for the same. Improvents that can be done are, there are some courses that do not help students gain any knowledge, such as Swacchhch Bharat, this only provides grade for academic result. Exams are held in two types MidTerm(50 Marks) & TermEnd(100 Marks) and they are preety mediocre level of exam, not too easy and not too difficult.

This college has a course called Experiential Learning. In which College send every student to 2 cities (Pune & Hyderabad) or (Chennai & Bangalore) on students expense and thhe they take you to different companies to show how a industry work at ground level. And for internship student have to find companies by their own and placement cell will help in that case.

There are 5 categories in which you can get admission and categories depend on your ranking of VITEEE exam held by universit for admission. Category 1 : INR 1,98,000/- Category 2 : INR 2,88,000/- Calegory 3 : INR 3,60,000/- Category 4 : INR 4,30,000/- Category 5 : INR 5,10,000/- (May vary by 10,000/-) If youhave category 1 the 4 year fees goes around 15 lacs (inr) and increases as category increases. There are no such scholarships beside the state toppers and national toppers gets some scholarship.

There are so much clubs to enroll and get social with different state students and get to know about their culture. There are some sports fest and club events throught the year and an anual fest. Each class is equiped with projectors and good ventilation. And some classes have air conditioners. The annual fest is generally in Dec or Jan.

The hostel facilities have AC/nonAC rooms and fees are accordingly, The food isbetter that you expect from a mess food, University send you mail if you want a hostel accomodation or not and you preference of bed type(4 bedded, 3 Bedded, 2 Bedded) AC/nonAC. There are some PGs around the hostel and they are way cheaper with good facilities

VIT takes common enterance exam for all campus combine called VITEEE , It is easy exam but number of students that apply is very high so need to score good enough. Application form are available on University websites. Exam takes place once a year. No reservation is there in the admission process.

The faculty to student ratio is preety high as number of students are very high. All the faculty have keen knowledge of their subject and almost 97% of faculty have doctoral degree. Although university claim 100% doctoral faculty but the ground reality is that they are teaching the students while pursuing the PHDs. Teachers and faculties are very friendly and often interact and asks about their academic and personal life like a friend.
