The university exam takes place twice a year . Internal exams are also being conducted twice a year by the professors and college. The paper is set by the professors and they are very strict towards the internal examination

The fee structure is very slow in this college.college is government aided ,middle class students can easily afford admission in this college.the government also provided scholarship like swami vivekananda.

The campus is beautiful, the infrastructure is so good it has so many spaces ,the college also provide extracurricular activities for students like sports,drama,etc.the canteen is also good but it doesn't have variety of food

The admission process was done online The application dates are for 15 days, the application form and fees are done online, The university exam done in every 6 months before that we have to prepare for internals

Faculty

They were highly qualified in their respectible subject . They were attentive in their classes and maintain discipline amongst students. But the teaching staff was syllabus completion driven so sometimes students were not able to comprehend the topic and seek for external aid such as private tuitions. the faculty to student ratio was poor as their were 3-4 teacher per 100 student but the teachers were ready to help student off campus as well. The teachers were not arrogant toward student and assist them in all situations.

A Peaceful, Culturally Rich Journey at Visva-Bharati University

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

The admission process under Calcutta University is carried out via wb portal in which you can apply for all the interested colleges and you get alloted in any one of them as per your marks and other criteria .. Getting into Jalan was my 3rd prefered college other than this I had appeared for Cuet but I couldn't pursue my degree there because of my parents as they don't consider Delhi a safe option... Then I had options to go to private colleges under CU but pursuing bcom in any private colleges or government college doesn't really make any difference so I selected Jalan college ... BRIEFING ON SSJGC

The admission process was smooth and frustating at the same time. Everyone who passed their higher secondry in commerce field were eligible for admission. We need to personally collect admission form from college which cost around Rs 200 and these college have a period of atleast 3 month after higher secondry result declaration for admission. The admission fee was Rs10000 for this course and alter as we change to other courses. The reservation benefits were restricted only to fee concession as the reserved category paid less fee.No category wise admission were there. The Professors are very good here. They always try to help us in any way possible. The college is located in College Street which is very convenient as we can easily buy books from here. The college is an all girls college and it's security is very good as they do not allow any outsiders inside the college.
