Vasavi College of Engineering Review

Curriculum is relevant and make changes to stay relevant. In my opinion course curriculum is not that enough for preparing real world appliactions but gives enough knowledge for preparing competitive exams. My suggestion is that course curriculum need to be trimmed a little and need to be preparing for real world appliactions. Mid term and semester exams are conducted based on course curriculum given and good grades can be achieved with very good preparation.

Summer internships are provided from the 5th semester to the 6th semester, and companies like Providence, Servicenow, Visa, Goldman Sachs, etc. hire students from the college. Later campus placements start from 7th semester.

After 6th semester, students are eligible for placements, during 5th and 6th semester companies offer summer internships, they get placed based on performance. Placements in Vasavi College of Engineering are pretty decent.

The college fees is 140000 per year and transportation is extra charges applied. Scholarships like TSEPASS and national scholarships can be applied to college and can claim upto 0 cost on college fees, that is, financial aid is available upto full level

The technical fest conducted is Acumen and the annual fest is Euphoria. They usually conduct around April every year. There is a library that has access to many books, famous journals, and even online research paper platforms like IEEE and many more. We have a sports ground that contains a basketball court and other games are conducted every year.

The admission process is decent, TSEAPCET announces the date for applying for admission and that schedule should be followed. After applying, I attempted TSEAMCET 2021 and was admitted to Vasavi College of Engineering.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:75, and in my opinion it is decent. Faculty are good at teaching the concepts of course. Approachability is very good, we can meet the teachers during their free time and ask our doubts and good guidance is provided.
