Course Curriculum Overview
Nowadays the relevance of social work is very high. More than the academic level one must be really interested and active socially. They want to prepare themselves to be ready for any work suddenly. Social work students want to initiate their own programs for the seek of the needy so those who are ready to spend their time and effort for them are capable of this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is a self-financing course. So yearly we have to pay fees. All 4 years the fee structure changes. There are a total of 24 merit seats. Merit students want to pay below 30,000. Management seat fees differ according to their marks.
Campus Life
My overall experience out there was so good. In the academic level, I just invest more time in studying and score well. If you are interested in sports or arts, college gives you more opportunities. There are many clubs for the students to enhance their talents. They provide clubs for music, dance, instruments, film, reading, etc. Christ College, irinjalakuda is famous for sports. The sports students participate in national-level competitions. The library is very spacious and does provide many books. They do have referral areas and research areas separately. Overall, it's the best option for all.
Admission
There is no entrance exam for the ug level. The admission is purely based on 12th std marks. You can apply to this college directly through their sites. They will let you know the details through SMS or emails. If you are eligible to study in this college, on the allocated date the student and the guardian want to take admission. They will provide a 7-day induction program to know more about the course, placement cell, clubs, organizations, and also about the college.
Faculty
My department is self-financed. A total of 12 faculty members are there. Most of them graduated MSW from college. They cracked the net exam during their PG and immediately joined this college itself as an assistant professor. They lack experience in the teaching field but they are doing their best.
