KIIT : Place of Development

Couse curriculum is same as other colleges only. Just two or three more subjects can be there.Curriculum gives you a basic understanding of the subject and to go deep you have to styludy from online resources. The area for improvemnt in course curriculum should a bit more relevant to the industry standards prevalent in the market. The exam diificult is moderate and timing is 1.5 hours for mid sem (Marks : 30) and for end sem (Marks : 50).

The companies coming into the college are Goldmann Sachs, Dell, and Providence. The average stipend depends on the role offered but average is like 40k per month The internship opportunities get started from the 4th semester onwards but mainly it would start from the 6th semester

Companies for internships come from the 4th semester onwards. The main hiring and the bulk of companies visiting the campus are from the 7th semester. This is the placement season. Placement percentage is 98%. Last year 160+ companies visited and the highest package offered was 62lpa. The main hiring is from service-based companies and the average package varies but to a layman's level, it would be 7 to 8 LPA. Give the GATE exam after the BTech course as it gives numerous opportunities is different industry groups.

The tuition fee can vary according to year but the hike in fees is there. If your rank is under 1000 in the KITTEE entrance exam then you get a scholarship. Also if you do well in all the whole semester (above 9 cgpa) then also you will also get some amount of refund.

When I was there. The silver jubilee festival happened. It went on for three months. It was a time when we all enjoyed a lot. Sunidhi Chauhan ma'am was the performer of the night. Just amazing. Students arranged dance shows and singing shows with arrangement of good dinner also. Library: the place to seriously study with effectiveness. The books are of older editions but it's good to get a book and study there...Take your important task and do it in the library. It has a good vibe and ambiance to study. Sports: KIIT is famous for sports activities, it is amazing you would enjoy every bit of it.

Types of rooms: AC and non-AC. 3 bedded and 2 bedded. I was two-bedded. Facilities were a bed, table, chair, washroom (in the room for premium availed), almirah, cupboard, geyser in the corridor, water purifier, and dustbin in the room.

Eligibility criteria: more than 60% marks in 12th. Good rank in KIITEE. Application forms can be found on the official website of KIIT for different courses. I don't think some reservation benefits are there.

Mainly all the faculties have done phd and mtech and doing some research work sidewise. So the teaching staff and faculties are good. Just attend the classes take notes and revise the pyqs. Sorted. Approaching a faculty is easy in KIIT as they are very friendly and helpful also. You can visit the faculty website of KIIT University to learn more about them. Interaction with the faculties is also smooth. But try to get a guide faculty throughout the college so that he/she would help you to get you know the process of placement and important events going on in the college.
