Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chosed MBBS because it is a professional course that teaches us the skills to treat our patients and provide the care to them. It also teaches some interesting things about human body that is barely known to a normal human being. The curriculum prepares you well for the real time situation and its application is good if the clinical posting are attended by the student regularly. The area of improvement in the course are such that if the clinical exposure are increased and the focused on theory related exams is reduced. The frequency of exams is once in 4-6 months and the difficulty is moderate. If a person is thoroughly studying throughout the year he can easily clear the exam

4

The intership is given when you complete the study of 4.5 year with passing in final professional with more than 50% marks. The intership is of 1 year duration in which stipend of 30000 per month is offered to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee of AIIMS Nagpur is too less that is around 6000 for all the 5.5 year course and this includes everything except the mess fee that is of 4300 per month. If you belong to a category you can also apply for various scholarships that are offered. After the study duration of 4.5 years the student get a intership opportunity that offers a stipend of amount 30000 per month approximately.

We have various clubs also so that you can be a part of it and get to learn various things there.

Admission

The eligibility of course is a good rank in neet exam. The cut off varies with year. A unreserved category person should have a rank below 1500 to secure a seat in aiims Nagpur. If the person belongs to a category then they can get reservation benefits such as 27% for OBC, 15% for SC and 10% fot ST category. You can apply for neet exam on NTA official website and by all india counselling process you can apply for AIIMS Nagpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
