What Students Say

Likes

The campus is well developed and infrastructure wise it’s one of the best AIIMS in India
The campus has many state of the art facilities
The faculties are experienced and the teaching methodology is great as well

Dislikes

Relatively newer AIIMS but still the best among the newer ones
Located a bit too far away from the city
The patient load is low comapred to established aiims but it is increasing day by day

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are well structured including the modern and newer aspects of medicine at the same giving importance the basics and fundamentals of each and every subjects. The subjects of first year really well taught

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 5856 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to eligibile students of OBC,SC and ST category under PM younger achievers scholarship scheme for elite institutes. The scholarship is based on annual income and could ramge between 40000 to 80000 per year.

Campus Life

The annual collage fest is named HALLUCIA. Which held usually during mid october and is one off the biggest annual fests in central India. Infrastructure wise all the classroms are air conditioned and labs are well equipped.

Admission

The admission was based on marks of NEET exam conducted by National testing agency. The cutoffs for General category in NEET 2023 was about 683 marks and For OBC was about 678 marks. This could vary from year to year

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to study ratio is less than 10 in many subjects. But the number of pupils per dissection table is above 30 which is a bit above the average. The teachers are well experienced and are very much approachable

In my family there are already 5 doctors including my elder brother that influenced me yo this profession It is a noble profession by which you can save someone's life. Improvement should be done in this course like there should be more practical approach then theoretical one. Exams are internal exams, preliminary exams and university exams. Remarks:

Positive: The college's infrastructure is really good. Negative: Being a private medical college, a lot of money is charged and they even earn extra money by charging unnecessary numerous times, very expensive admission forms and other expenses. Faculty is okay, selected few are only good. It is placed in a town which isn't well developed (Ahmednagar) There could be more extra curricular events and less restrictions for students living in the hostel, but there aren't.

AIIMS Nagpur review by a 2nd year mbbs student

Yes admission occurs by NEET exam . The cutoff for AIIMS is usually higher because of its education , faculties , campus and low cost . The difficulty is way higher - u have to study for 2 years and have to get a rank under 700-800 if u are of general category for AIIMS Nagpur . And for SC students the rank is around 15000. The admission process is little time taking since there is medical examination for every students and various forms ....Read More
