My experience

I am in my second semester and so far the curriculum is relavent to our course ,there are labs schedule for every week where we perform what we have learnt in our classes . Every 2 or3 weeks we have class test and after 2 months we have minors exam and another minor after 1 month and then we have our finals .

Our university don't offer internship,if we want to have one , we have to get by ourselves .the company which regularly visit are Flipkart, Amazon, deolite and many more . Inthe beginning of every summer vacation we are given with project for example this time I get a project of finding adulteration in vegetable

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement . Companies which visit include Amazon , deolite ,KPMG, Flipkart,Myntra and many more . In computer science and it about 85 percent get placed but in core the number of placement is very less about 60-70 percentage is for ece and for other it is below 50% . This year placement was very low due recession. All the above details is according to previous year I am planning to get placement in it .

Currently our yearly fee is 115000 and is increasing every year by 15 percentages . There are several scholarships available time to time but most of the scholarship have a criteria of annual income of parents less than 250000 . This year due to recession there were less companies for placement but before that it was relatively good . Apart from placement there is no other campus employment

The name of annual festival is goonj and it last for 3-4 day and it held during second semester. The books which we require for our classes are all available. There is no ac available projector are ther and board . Ac are available in our labs . The infrastructure is not good when looked from outside but is good enough from inside. There are several clubs like jugad ,tpc , Bhangra, volleyball, dance etc

You have to appear for jee mains exam first and then register yourself on jac Chandigarh . Registration fee is about 1000 for general and 500 for category According to cutoff of your marks you will get admission in various branches available there is about 120 seat available for each branch out of which about 50-60 are available for other reservation
