The hostels are nice and the campus is quite good
The teachets are well qualified and ready to help
Overall campus life is very good and enjoyable.

Dislikes

The academics are a bit outdated and not suiting industries today
Sports are a bit underrated except the athletics club
Academics is prioritized rather than overall development

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is not nicely updated to the current industry needs of the mechanical engineering students. While the subjects like AI and ML are added, the other aspects are improving as of now. Will get updated in a year or two i guess

The internship for mechanical engineering department is quite tough on campus. Off campus internships applications will do. The placements are good so internships can be neglected to some extent. ...

Placement Experience

The placements are very good of our college. Due to recession the packages have dropped this year. The highest package of mechanical was around 19 lakhs and average is 11lakh something. Quite good as compared to other NITs

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is roughly the same i guess. But there is a heavy spike in the mess and hostel fees. The hostel fees for our batch was 25k per semester but the refunds for the amount are good enough and thus is acceptable. The scholarships are provided to the category students if registered but the process is a bit long

Campus Life

The campus life is quite well. A lot of events happen everyday including the club meets and other events. Sports are a bit underrated and thus need improvement. Rest the social life and life with the colleagues is very good.

Hostel Facilities

The first year hostels are very good. The mess is also quite decent but the quality of hostels and mess decreases the year increases. The 2nd and third year hostels are quite poor but the final year hostels are best

Admission

The admission process is quite easy as everything happens on the JOSAA website and you just have to come to the campus for registration a few days before the academics begin. The exams are taken timely and the difficulty level is good

Faculty

The faculties are well qualified and mostly are ready to help. The student teacher ratio is 80:1 approx. The faculties are always present in their cabins and entertain doubts whenever needed. They are knowledgeable.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in third year .just after they complete internships. There were several companies visited like Asian paints,Bajaj Auto ltd. ,Honda,Hero ,Yamaha,TVS ,Adani Wilmar,TCS, Infosys Maruti Suzuki.,etc. each of the company select 3 to 4 students .Maruti Suzuki hires 10 to 15 students .Package generally revolves around 8 to 12 Lpa. Placement for Paint Technology students is 100 percent since last 5 to 6 years My plan is to get a job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed btech because I want to make my career in tech fields after coming into college I have seen so many students are in a rat race but so many are not and I feel they can make out curriculum way more better to include subjects which can teach us real world Problems and how to handle that in this AI world,The knowledge of AI is must so I think there should be regular classes for AI and yes that should be of good level otherwise I don't think so students will go to waste there time in college as there are lots and lots of videos on youtube so they will learn from there ,The exams are of medium difficulty level I will not say that they are too easy or too hard

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Great college life

Placement Experience:

A lot of great companies visit the campus and a lot of students also get placed by mass recruiters but the salary offered is not very much. So the average package is not great but some students do get great package by their own or by college if you are serious.

Honest Review

Placement Experience:

Student should get atleast 7 cgpa or above to crack good companies. Highest package offered to a student of this college is of 34 lakhs which is offered by company name commvault and average package is about 5 to 6 lakhs. Many companies visited to our college in previous years such as paytm, hcl, tcs, commvault, nucleus etc. Students are eligible to sit in interviews when they are in fourth year. My plans after getting degree is to have a decent job and live my life peacefully.

A nice college life but a little expensive

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two. Admission process is not that much tough it's just one day process.. first you have to upload your documents online and the you have to visit the college on the provided date for physcial verification along with the asked documents....Read More
