Course Curriculum Overview
BFSc. is a diverse course. It has a mixture of a lot of subjects. There is study of meteorology and oceanography. There are extension courses almost every semester. Exams are held twice every semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 25000 per year. It includes the hostel charges. The fees is revised periodically. The mess fee is paid seperately. Scholarships are provided for Bihar students. No scholarship for other state students.
Campus Life
There are less co curricular activities. There are programs held continuously like cultural programs. There is the kisan mela every year. The classrooms lack air conditioning. Sports is held every year during winter. No specific clubs are known to me
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is average. There are a lot of power cuts. There is no generator. The mess is good. It is run by students but there is real Corruption sometimes. The locality of the hostel is pretty isolated and surrounded by nature.
Admission
My admission was through ICAR exam. Now the admission is through CUET exam. Reservation is there for SC/ST. They even need to pay less fees. The exams are moderately tough. Sometimes the papers are tough but seldom and you need to constantly study and gain knowledge. The admission process has a lot of reservation. Should be considered.
Faculty
The faculty is good and apt for the students. The ratio is not up to the mark. But the teachers are qualified and have ample knowledge. All are Phd's and experts in their respective fields. They are very interactive with the students. But there is too much involvement sometimes.
