Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is under NMC so it has a well curriculum. they follow all the rules of NMC and work accordingly. They prepare us perfectly for the upcoming challenges what we may face as doctors. Exams are held regularly helping students to be in practice for final exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Ther intership is compulsory for all. We will be assigned duties in the hospital in various departments everyday. the working hours will obviously be a bit long but it is for our practice only so that we can be good doctors

Placement Experience

4.5

You can be eligible for internship after you have completed your 4.5 years mbbs course and passed in all subjects throughout the year. Then you get a years internship in the college's affiliated hospital and they pay you between 20k-25k per month. after that one year you can join govt job or prepare for neet pg according to your wish.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition remains the same as it was when you join the college. there maybe hikes in tuition fees but for new batches not the previous ones. you can get scholarship through government schemes although the clg doesn't have any of its own. and the total for mbbs for 5years here can cost you around 50 lakhs.

Campus Life

4.5

There are as usual the freshers and annual day celebration in the college. except for that there are functions like on occassion such as Saraswati Puja Ganesh puja. the library is a very big and spacious for everyone to study and is available till 10pm at night as of now. there are extra curricular activities and all types of sports and gym available in the college campus.

Rooms are 2 bedded and very spacious. Ac rooms cost 20k more that is 1 lakh 20k. there are cleaners who will clean your room daily. you get 4 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. there are proper washrooms and bathroom but they are common. they also have a geyser and washing machine.

Admission

You have to appear NEET UG and qualify with good marks minimum above 540 if you are general category or in less marks if you have any quota. the application form and admission process everything is done through nta and ojee in odisha.

Faculty

4

the faculty student ratio is proper. each 10 students have one mentor assigned to them. the faculty is very approachable and interactive. you can contact the anytime you want and they are also available in the academic block all the time.

The course that I chose is MBBS. Every aspirants know that how nobel this profession is. We are hearing of rumors like we'll be having NExT exam so according to that a little bit change is needed like shifting ophthalmology and ENT to final year and MCQ pattern for our exam. Difficulty level of exams is moderate. You get some basic questions. Some desirable to know type of questions

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Course which is around 5.5 yr is very difficult course as it will make you a doctor which is on of the most prestigious profession .Here you not only read theory but practical aspect is also more important. Students deal with patients in hospitals while studying clinical subjects. Here whole course is divided in 3 proff+ internship for around 6 months . 3rd proff is around again divided into 2 phase . In each year you have to appear at least 3 internal exams and one university exam which consist of both theory and practical examination. To pass the exam you have to secure atleast 40% in theory and in practical separately and 50% aggregately.Teaching method given by NMC is quite effective and difficult also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose it because I wanted money and respect which this course delivers. Teacher and student ratio is ok but nowadays there is a shortage of faculties, so pg students teach us sometimes. MBBS qualified and method is slide reading only. Term exams are on time but it's difficult u know it's mbbs it's tough. Passing is not always possible.
