Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I mean they teach according to Indian education system so most of them are out of date but there are few great course where we can actually seek for personal development and helps in real world applications They should start implementing such course more often To be precise the course is called design thinking Exams are easy compared to other colleges. Most of the time it seems like they use the pyq for reference

Placement Experience

2.5

There are many rumors and im not sure which is true. But i think this year placement were pretty low coz of the inflation. but I know few who got legit placements. Last year someone got 18lpa, but according to another rumor he was fired in the first 6 months not sure. but he did get 18lpa package I plan to prepare for campus placement very soon. I don't have any hopes of on campus but would be happy to see how it is in future

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 3.3 lakhs for my course (management quota) and it's 1.8~ish through competitive exams. There are a few times when they ask for extra fees but it's appropriate like for exams or something like that The complete fee will be around 13 lakhs. If u come before u may get some concession Scholarship I have no idea.. I heard The management response is very careless

Campus Life

3.5

There are fests and events. Fests are rare but they do happen per year atleast. Library is not tat valid..there are common books but would love to expand the resources Projectors were being used before but now smart tv and sliding boards are introduced. Ig tats a good feature Sports opportunities will be coming but the facility is quite low Student can run r start many clubs and they are encouraged alot. But it is rarely happening

Admission

U should have pcm in ur pre university Ig kcet cutoff was around 50k r somewhere around that. U should come to college for the form and other stuff i think. And it will be better also to know at which area the college is. We'll have 2 internals and 1 external for one sem. They should show and all they provide us in this course during the admission.

Faculty

3

The number of faculty is quite decent for now... But I've heard for final year there is a shortage of teachers, not sure Few are very good at teaching and few are deadly opposite, so we shld be ready for both We can interact wherever we want. Didn't face any problem regarding this matter

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
