Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here at colleges delves us into theoretical as well as practical knowledge about a certain topic. To analyse it we are often judged by teachers with the help of quizzes and to understand things better we are also given activities. We are given enough material to study and prepare for our exams.

Placement Experience

Placements here at jaypee are good and the first thing that attracted me to get into it. BTECH have the highest placement package. last sem two of the grads got the package of 30 lpa and BBA people also have package around 8 lpa and 5 lpa as an average.

Fees and Financial Aid

the total fee for an year is around 1,35,000 including the tuition fee as well. the scholarships here provided are often from the merit based and their eligibility criteria is based on there on entrance test or CUET or merit based.

Campus Life

the main fest held at jaypee happens around february called 'Impressions'. it is two day programs which has many games and events to participate followed by dj night. the classrooms at jaypee are well equipped with a system and air conditioned which turn to a heater in winters which is pretty comfortable to sit in. there are plenty amount of sports played at jaypee and they run clubs of them too which gives students an opportunity to compete against others.

Admission

Admission process at jaypee is quite easy, to fill any kind of forms all you need to do is get into their website and fill the form or pay a visit to them and they explain everything and will help you in manually filling the form. you can easily get in college based on your CUET scores or merit of 10+2 or by giving entrance test which is also sort of easy if you have your concepts clear. After this the documentation part comes which is very clear and concise.

Faculty

All the faculty at college are PHD Graduated and have immense amount of knowledge in the field they teach in. Faculties provide ample amount of resources to study and also arrange mentor mentee sessions which helps us to openly talk and share about our problems. Teachers are very open to talk about anything and are easily approachable in times of need.

Think before choosing it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check.

To be honest the placement is just okay and it has nothing the companies that come here have nothing much to offer and at some points there are only a fewer number of companies offering jobs and that too on a very low payment basis

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the curriculum but it needs to be more practical for example in our curriculum we have the subject computer but we are never taken to the computer lab to teach us important topics like MS Excel or power bi . I would really love if the curriculum includes more practical things like case studies quizzes or presentation that will help us in future corporation world. The curriculum is a lot theory based it needs to be practical.

Honest Review of JIIT

My Rank in JEE was 49K and I wanted CSE , so my only options were to apply in private colleges. I got accepted in MIT, VIT, SRM and JIIT. I chose JIIT just because it was close to my residence and it would save a lot of money because of not paying hostel fee which is 8 lakh for the 8 sem course. In my year , the cutoff for CSE was 59K But now , you could get CSE for as low as 78K I would recommend this college to you only if you have 60-70K rank and want CSE....Read More

I applied for YMCA faridabad, IET Lucknow and LNMIIT jaipur, IIST , along with my college . I opted JIIT because of the branch I got , which I gave the utmost preference. I had got lower branches like electrical in IET Lucknow and ECM in YMCA but M&C in JIIT is far better then those , due to the packages students get offered here , and the location of the college in electronic City leads to a better platform too. I cleared jee mains and applied in JIIT through my rank, students may apply with 10+2 percentages too, admission process includes 1st offline councelling round and proceeding online upgradation rounds .
