Likes

Tech Fest and Cultural Fest is great in the college.
College life is fun along with helpful faculties, not all teachers but many.

Dislikes

The food at the girls hostel is very bad.
The infrastructure needed renovations in quite a few places.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because my parents told me so. Most teachers here are PhD holders and lab technicians are bachelor's degree holders in that particular course. Assignments are given frequently. Internal exams are held regularly and the semester is held every 5-6 months which can be a little difficult considering the subject.

Internships Opportunities

As for now on-campus internships are less or usually got by high-scoring students. You can apply for internships outside of college or platforms like Internshala or Linkedin based on your interests and achievements.

Placement Experience

HIT has a reputation for good placements but this year the placement percentage is quite low. Before 2024 the placement scenario was quite good. The eligibility criteria differ, usually, students with a 7-9 CGPA are preferred. This year's highest package offered is 33LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The total program cost for me is ?533200 which is without staying at a hostel. Other minor fee payments are also required for specific things in college. Scholarships like SVMCM are available for students of students of West Bengal and others from outside of the state.

Campus Life

Two fests are held in college, Tech Fest and Cultural Fest during April or May. A well-built and spacious library is present inside the college campus with a variety of books but considering the no.of students there's a shortage of books. There are many societies and clubs present in college which give opportunities for students to interact and learn from seniors.

Admission

After class 12 students can take WBJEE/JEE exams then they can get admission through counselling. Then as per rank, you can get in the college. Students can also get direct admission to the college as well.

Faculty

The members of the faculties of this college are helpful and acquainted with PhD holders. Mentors are also available for every department that helps students with any difficulties if any student is facing issues regarding ragging, an anti-ragging committee is present to help them out.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
