Likes

Most Teachers are good and friendly explanation is good.
Regular Cultural Events are conducted. So we are engaged in co curricular activities rather than only studying.

Dislikes

Our college is 100 yrs old so there is ongoing renovation. So much things are old .
Technical issues are present. All should be replaced with new one . Funding from government should be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the curriculum should be improved. In the era of competitive exams, we have to write long paragraphs in university exams. Rather than byhating definition focus should be made on concept learning. Three internal assessment exams are conducted in the college. Three formative assessments are conducted. They are difficult though.

Internships Opportunities

I think interships are on the subject of psychology. I didn't participate in them. as slots were few. The stipend may be about 5000 rs per month. Interships from outside are few. Medical camps are conducted where we can participate. Medical workshops are conducted in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of college selection 60100. Were collected. At the time of examination, 7700 were collected additionally. University Exam fees 5000. For practical records of the subject and apron, it may cost about 5000. If we are purchasing new minimum books 10000 rs. Hostel fees - 1000 rs per month and mess Bill on average 4000 per month. On an avg completing MBBS from here for general students, may take 1.7 laks per year. I am not getting any scholarship so I don't know much about it. Internships are there at the end of the course. Salary is about 26000 per month

Campus Life

Fest Conducted are saMMsCRIthi - Annual fest for 3 days. Vagus - Medical workshops are conducted for medical students Krieda - Intracollege Sports event with various sports. Guruvandana - Teachers day. Ganeshotshava - Ganesh chaturthi Dhamani - Literary events

Hostel Facilities

Every room has space for three members. With attached Toilet and bathroom. Three cots and table and chair are given. Every floor has a nearby drinking water facility. Mess is within the hostel at the ground the ground floor. Mess food is good with 2 days of Chicken. and 4 days egg item. A fee of 10000 rs is collected as a security deposit at the time of admission. It costs about 60000 per year for hostel and mess fees

Admission

All should write the NEET UG Examination and qualify for it. Cutoff varies yearly on the basis of applicants and the difficulty of the exam. I scored 637 out of 720 in the 2A General category. SC and ST and Obc have few reservations. Neet UG is conducted every year. If you don't get it in the first year. You can Take 1 year drop.

Faculty

Most of the faculty are well-graduated from good medical colleges. Most of them have MDs in the respective subjects they are teaching. Teaching is through the ppt presentation. Practicals are conducted 3 days per week. We get good interaction while discussing with teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

One of the best medical college in Karnataka

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked Biology very much in my 11th and 12th and I also wanted to be a doctor since my childhood. Faculty:student ratio in this college is well maintained. There is 1 faculty member over 25 students. All the faculty are well qualified and experts in their fields. Some of the professors are functioning as scientists for the university and have reserved some patents for their researches. The teaching methodology is also very good and according to the latest norms set by the university. Every year you have to go through some college-level exams ( Internal Assessment) three times. And you must score at least 50% as aggregate in each subject to be eligible to give the final University Exams. All the exams taken are as per the latest Revised Scheme for evaluation set by the university. On average the difficulty of exams is high. Regular studies and consistency can make anyone pass the exams .

Since its a new college it is not well recognized by common people and has a common misconception that its a new college so there is no facilities which is just a prejudice. And hospital doesn't have many patients as like in govt setup.

Nothing negative our college has maintained good greenery also it also has a separate gardening department which looks after the garden. It's a huge campus so walking around only takes a lot of time is in between Hubli and dharwad so its well accessible, this college is one of the best so no remarks

Good college with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen, students should go to hospital canteen in case. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.

MMC & RI : Standing Still for 100 years giving talented doctors for the nation

First we should have 11 and 12 in science . And should get above 75 percentage. Then their will be exam called NEET UG which is conducted by NTA . application forms will be available online in their website. Application dates depend they start in the month November and December. OBC ,SC ,ST ,PWD students have reservations in colleges additionaly fees for SC and ST students is less compared to others . NEET exam is conducted yearly and it is moderate , if studied from early student can pass it. Allotment process is online .which takes about 1 to 2 months from the meet result.
