Entrance Preview

There were no entrance exams, only a cut off percentage of 70. I wanted to study Psychology and this was one of the 2 colleges that offered the course in Hyderabad.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

There was decent amount of overall learning in my choice of subjects. The curriculum didn't just focus on final exams but every assignment had its weightage. The learning was much more and was fun.

Internships Opportunities

The college did not provide internship for my subjects when I studied. If we did it would have helped us a lot. I am not sure how it is now. I do hope it has changed.

College Events

4

We had many fests. The Arthashastra from the commerce dept., Psychon from psychology dept., Natale - the Christmas fest, literature fest, annual day etc. Most of them are inter-college fests conducted on a large scale. There were awards and participation certificates which added value to our resume.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are not too high, especially in the government-aided subjects. When I studied, it costed Rs. 5,000 per year. Even the non-government aided subjects were about Rs. 15,000 - 25,000 per year. It is much less than most graduation colleges. I do not know the current fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know of any scholarship / loan facility offered by my college. I am not sure if they offer any.

Campus Life

3.5

It was an all-girls college, so there's no gender ratio to discuss about. However, the culture was diverse with people from all over the country studying here. We had a lot of extra-curricular activities. We had strong sports teams year after year. Most of the competitions were won by the students of our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Many of the alumni became our lecturers. The experience was amazing as they brought their knowledge to us and helped us not only learn our subject but fit into the college environment.

Exam Structure

We had one 1 annual exam, 2 internal exams. The annual exam was for 100 marks / 75 +25 (practicals) marks. Each internal exam was for 25 marks. The rest of the 50 marks were set aside for assignments. It was not hectic at the same time we were kept quite b

Faculty

My faculty inspired me to become a Psychologist. They not only knew their subject but were passionate about it. My Psychology lecturer taught our subject as way of life and not just something you need to know. They taught us to address our personal issue
