Course Curriculum Overview

This course not only includes one field but three. It includes Mathematics, Computer Science and Operational Research so that we can have a variety of options to choose in the future. We can pursue masters in any of these subject fields.

Internships Opportunities

In B.Sc. mathematical sciences, there are not very good opportunities for placements. I did not attend placements in my graduation. Its better to pursue masters and then have very good placements. So, personally I don't know much about placements.

Placement Experience

From last semester, students are eligible for placements. They have to pass through at least 2-3 exams including written examinations and interviews and must have good skills and strengths that made them different from others to achieve good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is also affordable. Its around Rs.10,000 per year including Rs.1,000 security deposit. The complete course fee is around Rs. 35,000 including exam fees and everything. There are campus placements also but ofcourse no one can get good placements after B.Sc.

Campus Life

Yes, overall campus life is very good. There is an amphitheatre, a very big playground. There are exercise machines also and an attached girls hostel. Auditorium is also very big. There are a lot of societies which one can choose according to their interests.

Admission

No, when I took admission, there is no entrance examinations. Admissions are on the basis of XII board percentage. And yes your XII overall percentage should be 90+ for getting admission in this course.

Faculty

Almost all techers have completed doctorate degree. All teachers are well educated and their way of teaching is aslo fine. They are very friendly so we never hesitate to ask any doubt anytime. Always helpd in projects and assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam happens twice a year but you have to be eligible for it in BSc it'll take a whole year after registration for exams but in bca you can give exams after 6 months only. Morning timing for exam is 10-10:30am and in afternoon it is 2-2:30pm you can chose the time for exams they provide you the time, date and exam center in hall ticket which you'll a few days before the exams and after filling exam form

So I chose PCB after 10th and wanted to explore interesting courses. Food technology really made me interested since then and I was eager to be enrolled in this course after collecting all the information about it. The course has a vast scope. Lady Irwin has an amazing faculty too. The teachers here are quite cooperative and their teaching methods makes the subjects interesting to study. The teachers are well qualified from top institutions like BHU, CFTRI etc.

Hansraj college is one of the best college of DU it lies in North campus and due to its alumni it hold different kind of legacy . If I didn't get admission in this or any other college of DU , I have to continue my undergraduate on from my hometown's private college .
