Likes

The campus was very environmental friendly
The campus is well equipped with wifi facilities to students
Has large library with lot of book collections

Dislikes

Has not much space for parking and lacked security for the students possession
Some of the areas was restricted for some students
Attendance was not marked correctly in the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

The bca curriculum goes through the basic computer science syllabus like programming in c , python , java . But even though there are lab periods, there lacked practical teaching , syllabus should have provided more objective study. Moreover the exams were conducted in timely manner.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee was fair, i got through management seat which costed about 2,25,000. But recently there was naac accreditation which increased the fee. The college also issues many scholarship opportunities which have been approved by the government.

Campus Life

The college allows the celebration of onam during September, Christmas in December, annual day as well as college day. The college is mainly known for its sports activities offered in the campus. The classes are also equipped with projectors which are used regularly for educational purposes.

Admission

The admission is based on the marks secured by the students in their 10th and 12th , there are special enterance exams . The merit cut-off was 90 percentage. The application process is done through offline.

Faculty

The computer science faculty was credited with good qualifications as well as they were very friendly towards students. Furthermore, they provided guidance for building projects and giving refferals for new opportunities.

I thought this course will be useful for the future. So i choose this course. Subjects teaching can be made more relatable to the course and future. Maybe they can add day gaps between exams. The exams are conducted in consecutive days, each day two exams.

The experiences at my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The unique aspect I found at Chinmaya Viswavidyapeeth is that they involve courses that shape an individual to his/ her best version. They teach us the aspects of life and how to enter and solve an issue with confidence. There are improvements needed in few areas but the overall performance is great and we know that the management is trying hard. The time between exams are a bit short but the frequency is not much, their difficulty level is based on the course's difficulty level.

In the new world of technology it is more good to study something related to the future. In short i felt bca has more scope in future . Teaching are not relevant for the future world. They should upgrade their teaching methods and the syllabus is not upto date . We are still studying about the old generation techniques. Review on Christ Irinjalakuda

This college is oretty famous in this area , and also extremely affordable in my standards to be honest. I havent applied to any other colleges , except for one that was abroad. I didnt get a reply from that college , so i joined this college , and the decision is not one which i regret i guess. Admission process was easy , just had to wait in lines a bit , talk with the principal and faculty. Overall experience was genuinely great.
