Likes

Regularity in classes and maintenance of attendance and also the laboratory infras
Labs are being conducted regularly and teachers are supportive, they concentrate on each and every student
Well educated teachers are appointed in cec. It has a eco friendly environment and availability of sports is quite interesting in cec.

Dislikes

There's no such thing to dislike in cec. It's an wonderful college unless we bring interest in studies
Cec has an adorable environment and every now and then they'll provide sports competition to boost students. So I honour our staff
Many extra curricular activities will be organised by cec staff

Course Curriculum Overview

Cec has 6 different branches and every branch has its own mission and visions onto which the department will rely on. Every department follow all the instructions that are announced by their respective hods. It's the college with fun.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Depending on the branch we choose the fees will vary. When it comes to management there also the fees differ by the annual income of an individual. But if the candidate is alloted by any competitive exams then the annual fees for any branch would be the same and would cost around 120000 rupees.

Campus Life

Apart from regular classes we also have many other activities to do in college like playing indoor games and sports. We also have library which is very helpful during exams and internals, it has all kinds of books which are essential for our journey of engineering.

Admission

The cut off of cec is 150000. The admission process is quite simple in cec. If you go by any entrance exam then it is even more easy to get admission as we just have to go and show the transaction slip that kea will provide. After that they collect all original documents and keep seperate files to every student and finally u will be verified as an cecian

Faculty

All HODs and few professors who work under them are highly qualified with their PhD. Other professors are all qualified with their masters. Every teacher has a disciplined behaviour and supports all the students in any aspect.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited our college like tcs ,wipro,Maruti suzuki,infosys,tech mahindra,accenture,ibm many more Highest package was taken by ece student 14.5 lakh / yr and average package was around 3 to 5 lakh per annum . There is 80 to 90 percent placements in our campus. My plans was complete degree and place for a semiconductor industry.

The professors are quite nice in the CS department. As I was always interested in studying CS engineering, I got admitted to the CS department. The student and teacher ratio is also quite good. We have 3 internals in a semester.

I choose computer science engineering because I was interested in it and it got a demand in the market also in our college it is very good we can graduate from here by learning all things faculty are great there support you all the faculty members are completed their PHD so they are well qualified and educated the teaching method is good they understand the student concerns and they help us to develop some exams will be around 4 months once they are not that tough to pass there easy you can crack the easily.

Actually i was interested in pursuing aerospace engineering And this is the only vtu college which offers aerospace engineering course during 2017 but now some other colleges are also providing this course

Remarks:

It's a government college so the fee will be less.you can find multiple PhD holders here as your lecturers.and above all of this good study environment. Since you get lecturers with high info on their respective field it will be very educational to have conversations with them and you can even discuss other topics that are not related to just academics.

I had applied to other colleges like RNSIT and KSIT , but I myself cancelled the admission coz the colleges were to far and the images of the colleges were not as expected In our college ( CEC ) they take admissions through KCET , ComedK and Management.
