Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum needs a lot of improvement it is not just this college it is fate of every engineering college and the curriculum is notade up for the real world it is stuck in stone age the curriculum can improve but it will not not

Placement Experience

3

The placement are average but what can u expect from a college the placement needs alot of improvement In 100 students only 9 students get placed The students star placement from 7 th semester and college is improving it's placement game

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee over 4 years will be around 850000 There are some scholarships available the fees vary over the caste category and KCET category and rank category the course fees includes all the amenities

Campus Life

3

The college conducts some programs for first year students after don't expect anything The technology needs a lot of work many computers don't work the projectors don't work There are some clubs they have impact in anything

Admission

I applied to this college as my backup college I got into my first college but was forced into this college over some silly recommendation from relatives The admission process is quite good but vtu needs step up its admission process it is slow

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good but some need polishing and some need to be removed and the students struggle with those faculty the exams are very tough for some subjects but don't worry every student fails literally but they comeback there some professors like Satish sir, jahnvi ma'am, Meghana ma'am,gangappa sir

Interview Experience

3

There were no interview for admission but u need to write KCET and jee for admission there some criteria for admission there some criteria for admission like caste and rank based you don't need rank to get into this college

Night Life

2

There is no nightlife every college in Bangalore is either between traffic or outside the city there are no hangout spots outside the college But there is a canteen where food is good and library where the the students have zero civic responsibility

Placement Experience:

At VVCE, The Training and Placements (TAP) is quite active. the highest package is 41 LPA and the placement percentage is 70-80% for the students who meet the eligibility and training requirement. Average package is around 4-6 LPA Top recruiters include companies such as Accenture, Bosch, SAP labs, L&T, IBM, HP and others. Students are eligible for campus placement when they reach their final year of engineering and fulfil the TAP's criteria. Internships begin in 6th-7th semester for students who get selected. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed in a top compaany where i can level up my career and gain insights on the industry.

The teaching methods are same as that 30 years before teaching methods teach teach words there in a test book. They don't go further. They don't try to make tests to learn new skills that is the same old stuff. The same C++ program and the basic Python and the PC branch is the first branch in the college as they say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ( Computer Science and Engineering ) comes from VTU , which provided all the content to be studied , it's affiliated with govt so the contents are very important and much needed for our future . We are taught some technical skills as well as communication skills in the college which helps us a lot in the future Overall CS Engineering has a lot of scope but lacks opportunities in placements since they are lakhs of CS engineers getting placed . But learning a special skill like Dev ops , Web development and AI makes us unique and makes us an highlight in the group so the companies can pick us for our skills
