Review of govt.engineering college wayanad

This course will very helpful for me in near future. Because in electronics department there is a major shortage of people in jobs recently. By completing this course we can do both jobs. Electronics type and communication type. Timing of exams is bit odd because of the university. There is only 3 months instead of 6 months in an sem. So it is difficult to prepare. They can improve teaching by teaching updated subjects. They are still teaching old things.

From S6 students are become eligible for campus placement. But college have a rule if we need to prepare for campus placement we need to clear all of our backlogs. We can get min salary package of 15k per month

Fees is based on their caste. For general feees is high, but for OBC,OEC it is less. For SC/ST it is absolutely free(fees will taken from grants). Complete cost per year is about 10k. Sometimes it increases fairly. There are lots of scholarships available for students. One of the major scholarship is egrants,M.O.M, etc. There is no such campus employment.

All festivals are here. Holi, Onam, iftar, tech fest,college magasine release etc. they are typically held in even semesters than odd semesters. It is also big festivals. The range and accessibility of books and journals in Library are very good. They have like almost all kind of books and journals in there. Even story books are there. The facilities and technological provisions are very good. In every classroom there are minimum of 4 fans and 4 lights with a projector and a flip tv for connecting with phones and laptops. Sports and extracurricular activities offered are awesome. There is all kind of sports in our college. NSS, Health club etc are clubs run by students of our own college they can make a big impact on students life.

In room there are 4 people. With a big study table. It have also a cupboard for placing our things. There is also fans and lights. The meal quality is awesome compared to outside food. They have variety of foods for each day. They have a menu. Food is by menu. The registration process is by filling a registration form in hostel office with a copy of previous sem mark and rationcard and income certificate. But I'm residing in a room outside of college. But college is near like 5 minutes walk. The locality is awesome. Always good people around us.

to be a part of GEC WAYANAD is to be clearing of keam. It is a entrance exam conducted by state of Kerala for enrollment of students in colleges. The cutoff rank is about 35k for general 50k for SC/ST. Reservation benefits is available. For a SC/ST student low rank is enough for getting seat in the college. That is upto 55k approx. Keam is not so tough comparing to jee and neat. If we try a little hard we can crack keam by a big score and getting good colleges

Qualification of faculty members are very good. They are graduates of mtech from certain colleges. Faculty student ratio are nearly 40:1. Their approach for teaching is very good. Their teaching will understand to all students . We can interact with them often all times. They are happy to interact with students.
