Course Curriculum Overview

I was having interest in the field of computer science and wanted to study about it that's why i have chosen this college. This college gives us the exposure about the real world day to day hustling. Teachers can make this course more intersting by giving examples about day to day life and focus on more practicals

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 288000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am in first year and i havent done any internship yet but heard that the college provides opprtunities of internship and training programmes.This college has many tie ups with training institutions.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements and PPOs TCS and wipro are the companies which have visited recently highest pachage is 17LPA average package is 3LPA about 70% of students get placed last year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such increase or hike in fee structures. The complete cost of education is around 3 lakhs. There is an scholarship which is provided by the Govt. of Jharkhand(eKalyaan) which helps students to manage fees

Campus Life

There is an annual fest in the month of November named GENESIS There are lot of books related to the course and for competitive exams in library Faculties are well educated and they taught us in smart classes There are many sports grounds and courts in the campus There is a DIAS club

Admission

There is no such complex elligibilty criteria. Students must have completed 12th standard with above 50% or admission through JEE mains scorecard. There are 2 Mid term Exams and an end sem exam in each semester.

Faculty

The faculties are of top notch and are well qualified in their respected feilds. Faculty members and very friendly and helps in all aspects. Teachers and Professors helps us in studies and clear all our doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
